[G]Weren’t making much of a [D]living
[C]But e[D]nough to [G]survive [D]
[Em]You see they're going to do their [C]own thing
And they're [D]going to try and make it on their [Em]own
They [Em]signed up for a just [C]few years
Where they’ll be [D]learning away from home
Now they're [G]working and [D]waiting
[Em]Helping this land that’s in [C]need
[G]Trying to prop their people [D]up
[C]Trying to [D]help them to [G]succeed [D]
[G]They'll be keeping [D]track of

As [G]they learn their occu[D]pation
