This tune is in honor of the upcoming Martin Luther King holiday.
I have great respect for what people of conscience and conviction can accomplish.

I can maybe make nice tunes, having it difficult to find lyrics.
AM I LOST FOR THE SOCIETY???? (could be a title). I can't play, broke my finger yesterday.
How it happened? LIKE IN A CARTOON. You know my condition, my mum was here to help me, I wanted to sit and lay down for a while. While turning to sit, my left leg didn't follow again, it's like paralysed, no power, it just sticks to the floor. I felt (like almost every week), and it was as if I could fly, over that table, to land 2 meters from where I stood. Nothing moved on that table, except for one side, I probably put my hand on that side, all glass around (1/2 of that table), and I couldn't move 1 inch. ONE MIRACLE, I had to take a generalist too, and he phoned a few seconds later, my poor mother was petrified, really scared and I was singing "this my way" + "I believe I can Fly" (a weird reaction), so my doc arrived 2 minutes later. He knows all about me, but if I should have told him that, it is would be difficult to believe, so he was witness, and this is real important. But no songs for a while.
I tried to play it, had to stop after the first chord, I love it anyway.

gitaardocphil - OUCH!  Broken fingers are painful - I used to play bass but a bicycle crash messed up my left hand.  Autoharp is my solution - no need to grip a neck.  Have since discovered that autoharp is an excellent song writing tool.  I'm kind of chuckling thinking about you hurting yourself right in front of your mother - poor lady probably feels it was her fault somehow!

Yep, I do actually believe in all that stuff . . .
At my age (51), most people are rather cynical and sour - but I still have a good bit of idealism and a generally rosy outlook.

Perhaps it is because I work every day with bright and capable college students.  Or, perhaps it is because I am a very shallow guy and being positive is more fun than being sour . . .

I often find myself singing your songs.     Although this one is of a more

serious nature, it has a very catchy melody.   So i know ill learn this  also with
