Topic: Singing and playing.

Wasn't sure where to post this really. But, as I posted a little song I made up on here the other day and mentioned that I couldn't actually play and sing at the same time and folks told me to persevere with it, I thought this forum is as good as any to mention....nay, shout from the rooftops....I managed to do both tonight!

A small thing for many of you, I know. But for me it feels like I've smashed through a massive barrier. Fair enough the lyrics and appropriate chord didn't always manage to land bang on.....but hey, I've finally managed to do both.

Now all I need to do is figure out chords for my latest effort and I'm away. This time next year I'll be on telly!

Re: Singing and playing.

Hey Hey moddish! Congratulations on getting your hands & voice working together. Learning to sing & play is like learning to ride a bicycle. All of a sudden the necessary coordination just clicks together and you are zooming down the road. Revel in your new-found skill and enjoy!

Re: Singing and playing.

Hi Moddish,

I am so glad it is coming together for you.

One word of advise though, before you go on the telly make sure that the legs are strong enough to take your weight
