Hello hinder_rox07 - Like the idea for this song.  What are the chords?  Is it a quiet/contemplative acoustic thing or a strident/raucous electric thing . . . seems that either approach could suit the lyric.  James

Well done Ken, I like your treatment of the song.  Here is what I have come up with.


I made some minor adjustments to the lyric (mostly for dramatic effect).  I hear it so that the verses are sung rather calmly by a solo voice and then the chorus and bridge are quite intense and in 2-part harmony.

This has been a very interesting thread to follow. It started off as a song with no music telling of parental conflict, a road that I am sure many of us have been down with a parent at some time or other.


Within a few days and with help from Ken and James a lovely song has been born. My contribution to this is a backing track for hinder_rox07 and friend which I have uploaded to:
