What's the drummers name? Really beautiful singing, I mean that sincerely.

Give everything but up.

Re: Need some feedback!

I take the portishead comment as a compliment:) The drummer is my computer..
And thanks about the singing. She has just started out singing and appreciate feedback.

Re: Need some feedback!

Hi Sidebo

OK, Honest opinions?

Well I cannot give it a bad review as I do not listen to this sort of genre of music and would be unfair for me to just say it is rubbish. Not that it is !!

Like Toney said your girlfriend has a lovely voice. I dont think she needs as much effects through the vocals I tihnk she could carry off the vocals more raw. But it depends on what sound you are creating.

The songs themself, the way they are do not do much for me. Probably bedcause it is computerised music but I would say you have 3 great potential songs there to be done in a band with intruments, make it more of a band sound?

But very well done to both of you.

Re: Need some feedback!

Thanks upyerkilt!

Interesting opinion doing the songs with a band. I think it could be nice!
About the vocals you might be right about the effects. I could definitly cut down on all the delays and stuff.

Re: Need some feedback!

I didn't get to listen to all the songs, but what I heard, I thought it could sell. Now you have to find your target audience.
I don't think it'll sell a million, but it could pay the bills.

Re: Need some feedback!

Hi Oscar,

SouthPaw41L here again. I've listened to your tunes again and I'm liking them more each time. Nothing personal but I despise "fake" drums. Your keyboard playing is top notch and your voice selections on your keys are tasteful and fitting. What is your brand of weaponry?( type of keyboard)and who are some of your favorite piano/keyboard players?  I'd like to hear you and gal without the electronic drums. But that's just my humble opinion and personal wish.  Your girlfriend has amazing talent and a absolutely beautiful voice. Her style reminds me a bit of Edie Brickel. Keep her intersted and encourage her as much as you can.
We're not allowed to directly advertise our products for $monetary gain here on Chordie but we can provide links to myspace and the like. Keep pumpin' out the tunes, you two have some serious potential. And when you've signed the stadium touring deals, keep me in mind when you're seeking a hugely experienced, moderately talented guitarist!!!(haha)

Peace and Guitars,
SouthPaw41L

Give everything but up.

Re: Need some feedback!

Hi sidebo

Just had a listen and I thought all your songs were excellent. I agree with Southpaw that your girlfriend has an awesome voice and you both should continue in the music industry.

Well Done

Re: Need some feedback!

Hi sidebo
The songs are pleasant and the girl has a nice voice.
I have no problem with the use of FX or anything that achieves what the songwriter/performer has in mind.
I think you have a good sound and I wish you luck..

Re: Need some feedback!

I'm glad you say so. It's hard to find the target audience!

k
I meant it as A compliment. She really does have a nice voice. Im just not for music with alot of effects. The intro is kinda cheesy(the First song) but then the vocals make up for it. I think doing theses songs with a live band would turn on alot more people. I understand that thats hard and your limited to the resources you have.

Re: Need some feedback!

Doing the songs wouldn't really be a problem it's just that we wanted to do some songs and it's so easy just doing everything on a computer. All the sounds are VST-plugins to answer SouthPaw41L. It seem like most people would like it much more with some live musicians and I really like your opinions. We will definitly start being more serious now that we now that people enjoy the songs!

Thanks for all comments it's really fun to hear!
