Greetings mdey2010!  Try this for posting your songs:


Use curly brackets {} to  enclose the commands:

{t:Song Title}

{st:Sub Title}

{c:comment}

{soc} start of chorus

{eoc} end of chorus


Use the straight brackets [] to enclose chords within your lyrics.


To post your songs on the forum, position this just before your song's title . . . . 

open straight bracketSONGclose straight bracket

(note the uppercase).


At the end of your song, put this . . . .

open straight bracket/SONGclose straight bracket

Hello badeye - I just noticed the song you posted a couple of days ago.  Nice song - like the idea of the lyric.


There were some coding errors, so I did what I could to make it format correctly and appear all pretty in the forum.  Had to make some assumptions regarding title and line breaks - if I mangled it too badly, we can fix it - just let me know.  James

thanks james. looks good to me. i am trying to write more songs as i find it very interesting.your right just think about your surrondings and some times the words flow. if you can add to it that would be cool.i have one about leaving your home to find work not finished yet but will post it soon.have a good one   badeye

Hi badeye,


Sorry, I missed your posting of "Be Yourself" until I saw your reply to James. I, as usual, have 'had a go at it' and I think it shows a lot of promice. The only thing that I felt was lacking was a chorus which would lengthen the song and give a change in melody. Otherwise I thought it was very good indeed.
