Topic: Rythem machine

Hi gang! I'm trying to find some method or machine to put out rythems at different speeds so I don't get stuck in 4:4 and 3:4 time. So I can play counter point etc. and get to think I'm better then I am. Cheep is neat

It's a damp cold night, trying to figure out this life

Re: Rythem machine

Butch, if you're looking for something simple to use online while practicing there's a couple options at this website:  http://www.drumbot.com/

I haven't played around with too many of them, but it looks like a few of these should foot the bill for just practice!  The tuner, metronome and tap are available as downloads.  I don't personally know if they are safe downloads or not as I haven't downloaded them yet (tho they look safe)... so at your own risk.  Anyhow, have fun!

MKM,

awesome link! I've been looking for drum beats to practice to instead of just regular backing tracks. Thanks for the share.

If anyone wants some guitar jam tracks, check out : http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/

They've got a bunch of backing tracks for all type of artists.

Re: Rythem machine

Thanks again. I ran the metronome and taps through Norton and they were clean.

Here I sit all alone. And I wait for you by the phone

Ha Ha Ha! big_smile  SouthPaw!

Good to hear it's all safe Butch, and that I could help.

Mr Jay... neat link on backing tracks.  I only glanced at it a little, but I know people are looking for those often.
