Ok dokey guys, like it says on the tin....if anyone can help with this name you'll be a friend for life. It's fingered (ooh-er) like this

Thanks a million in advance my ever helpful fellow chordians. This chord is in a song I've written tonight and would like to post this but can't until I've got the chord name sussed (or sus4'd ha!), my OCD tendancies just won't let me half ass it!

Re: Need help with a chord name pleeease?

My software gives me 2 names for this:

C sus2

G sus4

Hope that helps.

Roger, as always sir you storm in to the rescue. Thanks a lot. I've plumped for the Gsus4 option. The diagram doesn't show it exactly as I play it but I reckon that's the best fit. The chord before and after is called G/Bsus4 and it's very similar so I reckon you're bang on.

You're in the friend for life club now. No escape!!! tongue

Hi Mark,

Keep this link in your favourites for the future: http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/chord_name.php

Here you can mark where the strings are played for the chord name and in the 'Guitar Chords' you can find the chord shape from the name.

Pleased to be in the club cool.
