My mom's gone (died at the age of 82)   My mother was 42, her husband {my father} was burned to death  in an accident ( I was 8 months old), no job, and 10 kids on a farm. How the hell she managed - I do not know!

My wife is mom to my three daughters... and she has earned every honor that goes with " Happy Mothers Day" ....trust me.

I wish a Happy Mothers Day to all of the Mom's out there.   You all deserve medals or a million dollars or something!
If you had a kid half as hard as I was to raise - God Bless You!

Nah -I'm no where's near good enough to pat myself on the back.  I just like to write.
I don't why, but stuff just pops in my head when I think about things that are happening around me.
I actually had the chords to this before the lyrics - which is a complete turn around for me.

As per usual, my voice is not that of a singer and my guitar skills need plenty of improvement. 
Hope it doesn't hurt anyone's ears but at least you can tell what it's supposed to sound like.
I find it so therapeutic to just play a little , think a little and rhyme a little.

Always best when it's filled with children, or even grandchildren I think.
Vacations with just the wife are fine - very nice, but it's the kids to me that make them so memorable.

lastly, vacations are such a necessary part of life, and we all have ore special places we like ( or would like) to go.... but in the end.....  somehow it does always seem to feel real good to get back home.

Robert Plant was one of those vocalists that I was referring to in some other thread on here. That " special voice" that is instantly recognized.

Add that to the incredible musical abilities of the others in LZ and it's no wonder they were so great !
