Ok
Here is my version of Dylan's Knocking on Heaven's Door
I added a verse that I wrote b/c I thought there was more to the song than just getting old and not being able to draw fast anymore.
Hope you like it. https://soundcloud.com/tigljk/knocking- … door-cover

Have fun !!
Keep posting stuff for all of us wannabees that are not able to attend!

Badeye,
That was very good.
What I enjoy most about your finds is that along side are links to lots of others that I would never find by myself.
Everybody - check this one out that I found after watching Little Milton.........
What an all star collection !! Holy crap would I have loved to been at that concert.
It includes Phil Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert King, Paul Butterfield, BB King, Eric Clapton, Dr. John, and a host of special guest singers
It's worth the watch... thanks for the opportunity Badeye to find this! ![]()
I love it... it's the best music when musicians are just starting out...everything is from the heart and not for money.
Thanks for sharing Amy, I enjoyed it immensely ! I swear - if I was really good, I would go around and play for people for free just for fun.
Ok - here is my version of Six Strings Down.
With apologies for my playing and singing.... but it is such a great song.

I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining, I was just messing around with it and came up with that verse. I don't even play it very well yet but it is one of my favs to listen to. Hope everyone has fun with these songs
Ok...
Since no one has taken the bait for the song I chose, I'm adding another verse to end it !
I thought maybe if it was more personal, it would attract a player or two. ![]()
I tried to fit as many in as I could, please don't be offended if you got left out - I left myself out too! ![]()

I emailed you the song b/c Jan said too.
It's acoustic blues
That's a way cool instrument there Graham - you play it so well.
Steve Earle and his son Justin Townes Earle are two of my favorite performers. Copperhead road is truly a classic.
Very nicely done.
Jim

Very emotional song Amy. Voicing is excellent for the feeling of the song. I like it a lot.

Apologies for the playing and singing, but the message is important to me. Hope you like it.
That was an awesome game !
Both teams had chances.... both showed tremendous grit.
The crowd was great, classy play by both teams.
Congatulations Portugal!!
Is it Per ?
Mojo congrats on the guitar and the wife.
Yes very sad
When I was 20 years old I was driving a very good friend Henry Boone home from a softball game Henry was about 6'4 and 280, and very Black. Not an easy guy to miss. I was pulled over by Nassau county police of Long Island and they did not even care I was in car they made Henry get out and they searched him and under his seat. Never even asked me for my drivers license. After they left I was profusely apologizing to Henry and he just put his fingers to his lips and said " Sshhh It happens regularly in my life"
That was my first eye opening introduction to racial profiling. I was stunned and have never forgotten that night!
So sadpeople can't just accept others unconditionally. Thanks for the comment blue jeep
I'm not putting my name in because I want Roger to win - that way we can all be surprised at the song he chooses ! :
My dyslectic friend however has asked me to recomend to him to favor : ! rood snevaeh no gnikconk
