[Am]What if Jimmy Hendrix wasn’t [F]dead but still alive

[Am]Would he still play [F]guitar with his [C]teeth?

[Am]Or would he have [F]who can know[C]joined the Jackson Five

[Am]or would he have [F]fallen in love with [E]punk and [Am]anarchy

[C]I don’t know, [F]I can’t tell

[C]He died long ago

[E]And sure went not to [Am]hell

[Am]What if Janis Joplin wasn’t [F]gone but still with us

[Am]Would she still try to [F]drink her blues[C]away?

[Am]Or would she be in [F]rap and hip-hop[C]just to please the crowds

[Am]Or would she say there’s [F]nothing more for [E]me to do and [Am]say

[C]I don’t know, [F]I can’t tell

[C]She died long ago

[E]And sure went not to [Am]hell

[Am]What if Jim Morrison was still [F]here not over there?

[Am]Would he still get [F]drunk and stoned and [C]all and LSD

[Am]Or would he be [F]fat and hairless, [C]sick and in a chair

[Am]Or may be doing [F]bad commercials [E]on a bad [Am]TV

[C]I don’t know, [F]I can’t tell

[C]He died long ago

[E]And sure went not to [Am]hell

[Am]What if Hitler, [F]Mao, Stalin[C]were still on their thrones

[Am]Don’t wan to imagine [F]how bad this would[C]be

[Am]Janis, Jimmy , [F]Jim, and others [C]would never have been known

[Am]Surely we would [F]all have ended [E]in deep [Am]misery

[C]I know for sure, and [F]have to tell

[C]They died long ago

[E]And yeah, they are in [Am]hell

where you pick the strings depends on what kind of tone you desire,at the bridge it will have more treble toward the neck it will sustain longer with more bass this is true for acoustic as well as electric smile

sometimes when a lot of users are online I have to wait a bit for the pages to load and I have a fairly fast connection but this dose not happen that often so if your not going to be online here this will speed it up a bit for me smile

Chordie IS a search engine nothing is hosted on this site smile

I think the whole ups shipping charge is bogus most likely they ship for a fraction of what they list which is usually twice what smaller items cost I shipped a CD by U.S. postal service to Europe the cost was around $2.60 the charge was based on the weight a set of strings could be shipped by mail for a fraction of what ups charges its just a way of getting more money for the product sad

Josephine hello and welcome the songs cannot be edited at this time because the editing feature has been disabled by the web master due to copyright issues and Chordie is a search engine it dose not host the songs but gets them from other sites if the changes are incorrect there is a way to locate the origin of where the song is this question has been asked many times over the last several months and if you look in this forum you can read the responses to this question in several topics on this subject smile

I have to agree with the Avast its really effecient, clearing the cache and deleting cookies can be done on IE in the tools and not all cookies are bad especially the ones that remember your passwords any computer is bound by how many programs you are running and the speed you choose from your provider also how many files you create and store on your hard drive I have two pc's one (XP) is mostly for backup my Gateway is running Vista on my flatscreen tv Time Warner (Roadrunner) has several speeds I am useing the second lowest its fast enough to upload videos that dont buffer smile

I think I remember this metric issue as far back as I can remember one of the jobs I had besides music was working in a machine shop setting up CNC machines and we used calipers and micrometers and worked with tolerances of .0010 of an inch no one welcomed the metric system the argument was our system was good enough to get to the moon and the U.S. was the most advanced country technology wise and most of the of the world countries studied in the U.S to obtain our knowledge or steal it but we were led to believe that by adopting the metric system we would unite with the rest of the world to which I say humbug! if it aint broke dont fix it lol USA USA etc..etc.. lol

papa the danger in "taking a peek" is you could be letting a virus get a hold on your pc as an example I was looking for a free cd burning program and the one I selected downloaded and no sooner had I clicked install when my avast anti virus program (also free) alarm sounded it nabbed 3 trojan viruses that had attached themselves to the download and eradicated them I was lucky as a rule investigate any program before deciding to download the same thing with the "make my pc faster" ads on tv I did some checking and overwhelming evidence on the internet proved this is a scam so it pays to be cautious smile

Today was unbelievable on good friday I get a call from someone speaking in broken English with a India accent "is this russell" ? well you just won $12,000 dollars and a new black Mercedes Benz what do you think of that"? after a short pause I said "I think is bull*** buddy" and hung up I did not get a call back when I got home I checked my email and one of them was from Visa MasterCard they said they were cancelling my card because it was compromised at least that's what they wanted you to believe the tip off was some of the spelling was incorrect and the phrases were broken I was instructed to click the link and provide my personal information to "verify" my card this email was promptly deleted into the trash NEVER give personal information and the old rule still is true if it sounds to good to be true it isnt smile

Zurf all of what you say is good as long as they dont get hung up with it as some are prone to do and identify themselves with the artist
