War may be necessary sometime, but the senseless sacrifice of men - never.

These f**** up generals that think these boys are just something they can use for senseless slaughter --- they should have to send their own children first if they think it's a good idea.

It so often reminds of the Tennyson poem -" just follow orders boys"

I just ordered a fender 12 string acoustic.  I only got the low level one - just to see what is like and to see if I can actually play one. ( Heck - I don't even play 6 too good: )   but I just have to give a try ! ) Fender cd 100 12

Thanks for the kudos.... like Bluejeep says above,  I could write a novel just filled with " great ideas"  I've attempted.   But beestie hit it on the nail... it really defines me - it's how everyone knows me.  I changed a couple of words from the original and shifted the chorus chords to play better.   I hope everyone enjoys it and that it brings back some of those "special moments"  we all have had.    When I get time I'll put it on soundcloud.
