Mine is my little Martin custom x Acoustic electric, although I usually use my Alvarez RD-20SC to write most of my songs.
I am saving my money now - I saw in the news from NAMM that epiphone is coming out with a Gary Clark,Jr casino blu hollowbody this spring I am just hoping its not out of the $$$$ possibility for me.

Thank you all for your kind words of support. This is a link to soundcloud where you can hear my song. I apologize for the singing and playing, I'm not very good. I do think the lyrics are very full of emotion however. It's funny- in my mind, when I play it and just sing inside my head, it sounds so beautiful, I can see the story unfold right in front of me but when I actually sing it, it well.... it loses some of it's abilities to move me... you'll hear 
If any Chordians with a good voice want to cover and inject their own slant or interpretation, please have a go at it and send me a copy !

I am going to look at a Jay Turser Hollowbody today JT 136 I am getting it for $110 through a private sale - guy says he has too many guitars ( go figure!) I am hoping it is as in good shape as the seller has said - if so I think its a good deal .
Any chordians play this and know it ?
I also agree with Beamer about the strats with the ashtray look. I was going to buy one until i ran into that look and said nope !

I'm looking at getting a hollow body guitar. I played a Ibanez at Guitar center - it sounded great - but then online it said it never stays in tune. Epiphone played nice as well. Does anybody have any suggestions. Looking in $ 600 range

I can kind of picture this in my mind - reminds me of the post I put out about my song The Sun Is Burning Out, that had the video of all those singers sitting around the kitchen table jamming - but some how on a bigger scale.

I took the soundcloud link of me playing and (almost) singing off the original post as I want to re-do the music using the chords as shown now. It makes a world of difference and makes the song sooo much better. I'll get it done this weekend and re -post the song with lyric and chord changes. I'm just a rookie - lesson learned - don't post stuff until you get it right , and it takes a lot of work to get it right !!!!!! All you "chordians - have a great week end ! Live like the Sun IS Burning Out !!!!

You mentioned www.guitarfettish.com - I went there -- some of their guitars look great, and like all sellers - the descriptions sound great as well. . I was especially looking at the hollowbody guitars. Do you have any experience or knowledge regarding the quality of the Xaviere guitars they sell ?

Thank you . I tweaked it a bit today ( had some time because of winter storm) - nothing major - couple of lyric touch ups and switched chords to Em, B7, and A- easier for me to play and I think sounds a lot better..
I am still in awe of those old time guys how they used to collaborate over a table with some drink, smoke, guitars and friends. So cool.
