ALL I CAN SAY IS -  PHILL WILLIAMS IS DA' MAN !!

He is a fantastic musician, and took the time to help a fellow " Chordie guy" get some music done, and done well !
If anybody on this site has something you need help with -Phill is definitely a tremendous resource.

Thank You Phill !

I made changes to the lyrics, and subsequently changed the title to "MORE".   I couldn't figure out how to change in on the listing.,S0 it says "Love on the Line" but the song is called MORE.  Sorry.

Change of verse - hope you like it .  I recorded it and sent to my daughter - despite my terrible singing voice -she loved it.   I wrote this last year 'cuz I was missing her as she moved to Florida.  Now she has moved even farther away ( Seattle)  With Christmas around the corner - thought I would share.  Just thinking of all our armed forces away from their loved ones - they must feel way worse than I do. God bless our troops - keep 'em safe till they do finally come through that door to their home. Hope it sounds good to you.

I like that progression  b/c you can pause for a beat or two on the B7 to make it real bluesy .  I am not really a a very good guitarist.... and I certainly am not a singer - but I love to dabble in chords and write lyrics. I mainly just play for relaxation from teaching and coaching.  I really like Chordie as well b/c it gives you a chance to see what others are doing ( some really great stuff!) and also get some feedback to improve your own .  Chordie is awesome!

Hi Artie!  WHat I do is just use my thumb and forefinger to pluck individual strings of the chord - kinda soft - as a lead into the full chords of the song.  I usually play them a bit soft as well. Have fun and enjoy it . I really like the song - my favorite one that I have written

Thanks for kind words  - Jim

Thank you.   My feeling is that if it sounds good to you the way you play it, then that is how I would want it played.  I actually wrote it one night after my buddy told me his wife was leaving him. I was trying to imagine what that felt like. Enjoy, and play on brother !! JK

I changed the chords  - using  a C7 and B7 in the last the last line of each verse - Picked u the idea from a tip from guitar coach = Mike Hayes - Australia ----     it sounds so mucher better - kinda like a jazzy country sound.  Kudos to Mike !! Thanx

I have an MP3 of me singing ( I 'mnot very good) but at least you can know what it is supposed to sound like . You would have to email me so I can send it - otherwise - I have no clue how to get the sound to you.
