pgibbons welcome to Chordie I listenend to the song first its a quarter tone out of 440 (standard pitch) and second the key is Amin the notes your hearing are not chord changes but notes played within the A minor chord (d c a g c a) I do not hear any chord changes I believe that this is concidered modal as I was able to play an Ami chord thruout the melody
(but I have been known to be wrong on occasions) ![]()

Kenny thanks yea it feels good sometimes the lyrics can be the hardest part but it went pretty smooth with this one thanks again for the comments
It's gotta feel pretty good to write a tune like this, eh Russ. Funny when the lyrics flow you know it's gonna turn out to be a good piece.
Great job on the mix (as usual)
Well Done Sir RussKenny

Linus hang on I think the converter can be downloaded as part of the audacity program let me check mine and see you shoudn't have to upload a wav file there are several members who have soundclick accounts one is Arkady another is Phill Williams and there more knowledgable on this but I will get back to you ![]()

Re: Acoustic Solos (8 replies, posted in Songwriting)
if you use audacity convert them to mp3's for faster upload to soundclick if you get an account there a WAV file consumes a lot of megabytes and takes forever to upload or download and at soundclick folks can listen without having to download
oooooooohhhh. I didn't realize that, like I said I'm new. I also just figured out I saved them as Audacity files, and not WAV, so if they did bother they wouldn't be able to hear em. LOL.
I'll look at soundclick!
