I agree with Stonebridge keep it simple and easy to use as a persons knowledge increases with experience upgrading is a option however I have been useing the same recorder for over 12 years and still discovering new tecniques to use and improve the end result smile

pgibbons welcome to Chordie I listenend to the song first its a quarter tone out of 440 (standard pitch) and second the key is Amin the notes your hearing are not chord changes but notes played within the A minor chord (d c a g c a) I do not hear any chord changes I believe that this is concidered modal as I was able to  play an Ami chord thruout the melody smile (but I have been known to be wrong on occasions) lol

It's gotta feel pretty good to write a tune like this, eh Russ. Funny when the lyrics flow you know it's gonna turn out to be a good piece.
Great job on the mix (as usual) big_smile

Linus hang on I think the converter can be downloaded as part of the audacity program let me check mine and see you shoudn't have to upload a wav file there are several members who have soundclick accounts one is Arkady another is Phill Williams and there more knowledgable on this but I will get back to you smile

if you use audacity convert them to mp3's for faster upload to soundclick if you get an account there a WAV file consumes a lot of megabytes and takes forever to upload or download and at soundclick folks can listen without having to download smile

Linusguitar wrote:

oooooooohhhh. I didn't realize that, like I said I'm new. I also just figured out I saved them as Audacity files, and not WAV, so if they did bother they wouldn't be able to hear em. LOL.

I'll look at soundclick!

It depends on the song and the player a steady downstrum makes for a stronger beat but there are limits regarding tempo and consistancy I use both and have no problems but I have been playing for over 40 years smile

Linus welcome to Chordie can you get a myspace or soundclick account as a band or artist? because I have a mediafire account and your songs require downloading the files it would be easier to provide a link for people to listen without having to download. smile
