I have those days also, although it is usually just one day.  I grab the guitar and know right away that today is not a good day.  My playing and singing are off and I know it, so I just stay away and try again the next day. It's life.

If you are in a group for that purpose I agree that you should take the good with the bad.  It shouldn't hurt your feelings if you are trying to learn.  Friends and relatives tend to be nice and say good or greta job.  This really doesn't help us.

Practice two chords at a time changing back and forth until you can do it effortlessly. Then add another and so on.  You have to practice a lot.  The more the better.  Good luck
