I was all set or at least I thought,the power adapter on my Digitech vocalist decided to terminate plus three chords were buzzing so out with the solder gun snip,strip and solder new ends then after numerous phone calls(some long distance)and searching the internet in vain I found a replacement at Walmart for $15.00 during the Wimbledon match commercial breaks I hooked everything up and resurrected the setup just as Serena Williams beat Dementiva I think her name translates to madness (dementia) and that's what she must have felt losing a hard fought game she was on the verge of winning twice so its Venus vs Serena in the finals should be a good match I will be working with my new setup maybe taking a break to watch the fireworks saturday and the weather looks perfect for the weekend ![]()

Thanks Doug and the only tomatos I seen were in a salad bowl all cut up
I found out I have to replace the power adapter on my Digitec vocalist performer and according to the owners manual its a 9 VDC 500mA negative tip I emailed the company for a replacement part and I looked online the cheapest I found cost $30 with shipping any suggestions ![]()
Well there you go, see.....
It don't take a bunch of electronic stuff to make good music that can be appreciated. Good thinking though to just take the essentials and get out with the people, it's that personal touch that makes things great sometimes. Besides it's a lot easier to get even with that bum with the tomato launcher if you don't have to jump off-stage to catch up to him! LOL
Good luck and have a great time with your gigs Russ!
Take Care;
Doug

Re: Help with Audio (7 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
That is a good question separate the audio from the video, where did you get the audio source to add to the video in the first place? is it a live performance or a recording? if it was added to a video like in movie maker on windows it would be separate and if you saved the original data that movie maker asks you for after publishing to your computer you can open that up and delete the video and it wil save the audio to a file that can be brought back and added to the new slide show if not I cant see how you can delete the video without deleting the audio maybe someone else like Doug or Ridder have more experience with this ![]()

Where there's life there's death and vultures of all feathers! relatives.business partners.friends my song "The Truth" deals with these it is printed out in the Chordie songwriting forum or you can listen to it on my website, once your gone you are unable to protect anything and its all part of the natural law of the universe some of the Egyptian pharaohs tried to take it with them and did only to be dug up by looters and museums
I just hope the "vultures" and other carrion eaters swooping in to get their share of his fame and "fortune" by making a quick buck off his death and legacy get what they deserve.

yea I kinda wish he had also but he was the host and had to take care of his guests the camera was my Kodak 8.2 megapixle mounted on a tripod but there will be other gigs and next time I will have the audience panned
Glad it went well for you Russ, sometimes acoustics go over so well. Looks like you were having a good time I wish your camera man would have panned your audience.
Good Job !!!!

Topic: I HAD A BLAST AT THE PARTY (10 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
The gig really went well I was a little nervous not having played before a live audience in a while and all the guests were seated outside because of the threat of rain they had me setup inside and it dawned on me the idea of having everyone move inside when they were comfy where they were might be a bad idea,true all my gear was setup but I decided to just take my acoustic guitar with my harmonica outside to them it turned out to be a good call everyone enjoyed my songs and I made some good contacts I uploaded 10 videos of some of the songs I played at the party to mediafire the link is at the bottom under "Brads Party"admittedly there were some wrong changes and a few boo boos but overall it was a success and this was a live performance so any mistakes (and there were a few) really were not noticed by anyone but me and there's always room to improve
they purchased several of my CDs in addition to paying me more then the agreed price and fed me like a viking king sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet ![]()
