I taking  it  round   to my  friend Mike  Harding  on Saturday   to  see  what  he  thinks ,Those  who  folllow  the  UK   folk  scene  will  know  Mike   he   enjoyed  a  lot  of  commercial  success  in the  Uk  and  is  a  fantastic  banjo  player and  all round multi  instrumentalist  ,Heres  a  link  to  one  of  his  shows check  it  out  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QazSl2-hLuM warning  though  some  of  the  material   is  a  bit  risque.

I just  use   a Roland   street  cube   in the  house   or  if  I'm   doing   a    small venue , It  has mic .guitar  and  aux  inputs   , models several amps  has  an acoustic simulator   as  well  for  use  with  electric  guitar  and  a  variety  of  effects  very  good  sound   and  not  stupidly  priced  . It  can also  be  used   on battery  or  mains . Most  street  musicians  use  them over  here .

I'll  do  a  vid  shortly probably  an  old  Lonnie  Donegan song

Struggling with my voice at the moment again and I've a couple of solo gigs coming up this month so I'm not singing  with the band at the moment. Hopefully it will settle but since getting covid in March I've had a recurring problem but I'll send how I feel after this week ends session

Jim  it  was  supposed  to  be  this  one  https://soundcloud.com/graham-windle/just-for-a-change

Here's a song about rain.We get a lot over here .

Dont  buy  a  poor  quality instrument with   bad  stability  and  high  action   look  for  something  better  a second  hand   Yamaha   Pacifica  is  a  good  start   cheap   cheerful  stays  in tune   and  sounds  great  .I  often use  mine  live  in preference  to  various  other   high  end  guitars  in my  collection .An electric  guitar can often be  more  comfortable  to  play    than an  acoustic  but  at  the  end it  really  depends  on what  genre   you  are  aiming  at   . A good  compromise   between the  two  would  be  Ovations  Applause  series  as  they  are  acoustic   guitars  with  a  slim electric  type neck   very  comfortable  to  use  .Hope  this  helps

Yeah Jan I'm still making audiences suffer .Lol I have a video to share of Brian's song about the Russian soldier which I played at a recent gig .It will be a little while before I can post it as my wife broke the phone it's recorded on and we haven't been able to down load of yet but  I will share it as soon as I can
