Brilliant. I love this and it brings back some early ideas. I more recently heard girls who really played guitar and some I have listed to are very good.

Phill I like your poem and how hard you worked on it shows in how good it is. It also brings back being small when each day you were someone else. It was fun then not so much today.

Re: Brauns Lullaby (6 replies, posted in Bands and artists)
Most of them I play from memory and some that people request if I do not already know it than Ican bring up on my ipad but it is rare that I have to use it or sheet music. When I do a concert I know all the ones I will play. I never look at my hands like some you have seen. When I play I watch the people in the audience. I have done concerts from over 10,000 to as few as 16 and that one was for the board of directors for an spca and was at at house that was large enough to have a movie theater. My house would fit in her living room and it was so large that people from that were not side by side could not talk across the room. I practice for 3 hours most days so knowing them is from that.
I also play with callouses and my fingers and my nails are kept at least 1/4 below the tips. I have to feel the music and not just go though the motions.

Re: New Postings On Sound Coud (25 replies, posted in My local band and me)
Thanks Richard. I recently recorded over 25 original songs and have two CD's I recorded at a studio. I will post more when time permits. When I have concerts to play in the last 30 minutes I take request from those who attend. What I first posted is what most of the time are the most requested songs.

Thank you Doug Smith. I appreciate your comment and with your immense knowledge it means a lot to me. I had been at first reluctant to post classical songs and from the comments from all of those that responded I will not be in the future.

Thank each of you for taking time to listen and also to comment. I know what I play will not appeal to all who normally post so the fact that you like it means a lot to me.

Re: Tuesday's Flying Fingers (474 replies, posted in Bands and artists)
Kelly Valleau is a clean player and with the exception of amplification you would not hear a sound from him. I listened to some other listings by him and he had that turned down more and you could not hear anything but very clean music. Good choice with himo n Flying Fingers and you can tell how nicely he treats his guitar.

Re: Pawn Shop Guitar Cases (8 replies, posted in Guitars and accessories)
I buy very expensive classical guitar cases and have never had anyone to try to take something that does not belong to them. At the same time there is nothing wrong with being thrifty and buying a used case if it fits your guitar. I doubt it has to with "would-be thieves".

Topic: Auto Tune (2 replies, posted in Chordie's Chat Corner)
Is Auto Tune when singing normal or is it cheating. Unless you know how it works it takes a bad singer and makes them sound better than what they would sound like without it. You can usually hear some difference but with a good mixer it might be hard to know. If someone is using it with cheap software than you can hear difference.
So a bad singer sounding good to me it is cheating. How do you feel about it?
