READY ... SET ... GO!!!
I haven't had a chance to enter any songs this month, with holiday season here for us, I have been away too much to record anything. I might re-do this month's words during the course of the year as I had a few songs lined up to do that I just didn't get time to do. Anyway, onto next month's FSOTM.
yep, good one neo

Enjoyed both of these performances neo, well done. Both had me tapping my foot along in time and singing along with you.
I hear you Peatle, well said and well written.
Phill, awesome once again, great lyrics and performance
Ok here is my version of the song I wrote for this month.

it's a cute song if you can get past my bad singing
Well ,that definitely put a smile on my face Jim, especially the ooh ahh, dee dee bits You made it very catchy.
TIGLJK, that is BRILLIANT. Love it, I don`t know how you do it every time. That made me smile big time
A very BELATED Merry Christmas and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to all Chordian friends
December was crazy busy for us this year; I had no time to do anything else besides what we were busy doing. So now on holiday, I hope to catch up a bit more. Here in New Zealand our summer has been very mixed weather wise, though warm enough to be wearing shorts and t-shirts, presently we are getting LOTS of rain, bummer as I am presently holidaying at the beach. Having said that, we have had some great hots days too.
Looking forward this year to hopefully getting into music a lot more, kind of lost my mojo (excuse the pun mojo01) over the last couple of years and with now not practicing and performing with a group anymore, it kind of gets away on ya.
Maybe the Admins might be better to check them out, it's hard to know isn't it. As for conspiracy, nothing like a bit of conspiracy theory to follow and check out
neo - firstly congrats on being the first up this month with entries. They were both good, I enjoyed them both. But of the two songs, my favorite was TIME. Your cover of the song suited you vocally and you played it really well. Excellent choice of cover for you all round on TIME. A thumbs up from me
I sat on the beach, enjoying the sun,
Watching people, their coming and going.
Some lay on towels or sat in their chairs,
Reading books or sound asleep, I could hear their snores.
Some people ran across the hot sand,
Jumping and leaping as it burnt their feet
Running to the water, ready to dive deep.
Some were afloat bobbing up and down,
Some were diving and jumping enjoying the waves
Others out on surfboards, boogieboards with flippers,
Motorboats pulling water skier’s and some yachts were afloat.
A gentle breeze cools the hot air, a dog barks at its master to throw the stick again.
Parents arrived with children and babies in tow,
Armed with buckets, spades and floating toys to keep the kids afloat.
Surf lifeguards in their yellow and red,
Strutt their stuff as they eye the sea.
More than a few sunburnt bodies are seen everywhere,
Flesh getting flashed in bikini`s, togs and shorts,
Some to admire, some not so …
Lol life is good as I take all of this in,
Relaxing on holiday, I am truly in Bliss.
Nicely done to Phill, that last bit "Undressing there before me, we shared the chocolate bar" that was clever, I wasn't expecting that lol
Peatle, Waikanae Beach, a great beach. So neat the story of meeting in friendship then becoming married and of the feelings as young people verses now older and wiser. Nicely written. Could picture it well with your writing.
Jeff that was a fantastic piece of writing and I could honestly see that in a poetry book with all the drawings to go with it. A mixture of enchanted, mystical, mystery feel to it. Excellent, had me reading it word for word, wondering where it was taking us the readers too. Brilliant.
For FEBRUARY looking for SONG SUGGESTIONS to do with any FRUIT, any ANIMAL and any VEHICLE.
So, for example, it could be about Oranges, Lemons, Apples, Berries, Banana`s for FRUIT, it could be a song about a Zebra, Lion, Monkey, Cat, Dog for an ANIMAL , or it could be for example a song about a Ford, Chevrolet, Holden, VW, Dodge for a VEHICLE.

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay as away on holiday. Sadly, I didn't get time to enter a song for December as it was a ridiculously busy month for us and then Christmas was here and the holidays before I knew it. Anyway, here are some old ones I did a few years ago for Christmas which I will use as my entry.

neophytte, thats a lovely Christmas song an old favorite for many people. Merry Christmas to you too
Great, thanks TIGJLK for suggestions
Any suggestions people?
As for me, I am struggling to find time to even record anything at the moment.
Tigljk, such a great song, you should be very proud of that one. And how awesome to have such talent performing it for you.
Another nice original song by you Tigljk. This one is lovely with all the thoughtfulness and thankfulness within the lyrics.
Any suggestions?
I have one that I am thinking about doing which is Something in the Water by Brooke Fraser but covered by the Wellington Ukulele sympathy orchestra which I quite like.
