Jeff having just had a good neighbour pass away  a few weeks back after a short illness made your lyrics very relatable  to me. Your a master lyricist and song writer.

Jandal your voice is sounding great and your playing and percussion were perfect.

Unclejoesband  that is a good song from you and your backing vocalist.

Cheers Phill
We made a toast in honour of Connie wonderful life and service to my family with a Bundaberg Ginger Beer. There is a black rum also called Bundaberg or as the Ozzies  call it a Bundy. The Bundaberg in the video  is a non-alcoholic Ginger Beer from Queensland Australia. With the medication I have been on in recent times I have had at times to stop all alcohol so me and a couple of friends have taken to drinking some cold non-alcoholic drinks.  Though I enjoy a few cold Heinekens down at the pub. When my time comes to leave this earth, I would love my family to return my body to nature with an eco-funeral rather than have me under a tombstone. But knowing my family they will prefer my final resting place to be under the earth with a Headstone above. Maree wants our final resting place to be in the same spot. Here in Kiwi land some people are now going for Natural burials also known as eco burials when they die. The unique guiding concept: that is central to this idea is that everything about the cemetery is as ‘natural’ as possible. In essence, they do not introduce anything to the cemetery that would interfere with or pollute environmental processes. For example, to help natural processes, plots are dug only into the active soil layer, the deceased are not embalmed and they are buried in caskets of untreated, sustainable wood. Plots are filled with aerobic, organically active soil, and overplanted with a tree native to the area. The whole cemetery is gradually restored to native bush.. All of the body nutrients and matter are gradually absorbed by the surrounding soil and plants. It is intended that these cemeteries will become permanent bush parks – a living memorial to those buried there, a home for native flora and fauna, and a beautiful place for family and friends to visit.

Good one EB you got a nice bit of Rock Folk Fusion going on there.

Thank you Jandle . The last two months I have been busy trying to knock my place back into shape with house maintenance and gardening. Since I got sick in the last five years things got away from me but now I am slowly getting the place back into some sort of good shape. The Conifer was the only plant around our place that we called by a name which was Connie. Maree saw me with my guitar sitting outside and jokingly said aren't you going to write a farewell song to Connie. so I did. The morning fog is clearing here this morning and it looks like we  are in for a beautiful 19c Autumn sunny day. I'm looking forward to spending more time out doors today.

Good one EB my two wheel days are well gone   though I think a nice gentle push bike cycle around Oriental Bay might be nice on a hot still sunny day.

Even though you said you messed it up Zurf it sounded real good to me. Nice guitar playing and vocal.

Hello Jim are you still out there been a while since I have seen a post from you. Hope you and your family are keeping well.

Richard  with your neighbourhood distractions you did good given that you were preasurised for time to get it done. Good to see your twin brother playing guitar with you on there and hear the  bird in the audience participating.

Sounding good Grah.

Richard very true all's not fair in love and war.

Richard great lyrics I look forward to hearing you do this song.

Cheers Richard I look forward to hearing more of your performances on here. I like your comment about needing  a harmonica nothing like a bit of blues harmonica to lift a blues jam.

I love the way you put that all together Roger that was cleverly done nice playing and singing.

Thank you Mojo my voice has never been up to much but it seems to handle the blues ok only trouble is when i try and sing happy it sounds sad. I have always enjoyed listening to your singing and playing.

Thank you Jandle, Roger, Phill, and Doug I hope more people give this a shot.

Hi just to get the ball rolling with my bad voice and some tricky guitar playing by my friend Robert Caravano here is Welcome Back for Jandle.

Jeff I like the way you do it with just you and the guitar.  The other version that rhythmic feel makes me think of how I perceive Cuban music to sound an interesting  arrangement.

Greetings TwangTown  I see your a man from the Edinburgh of the south the great Scarfie city where many a kiwi has gone to get their Uni education. I only moved to chordie about seven years ago so it would be good to hear from some  of those who have been in this place longer than me. I think Easy Beat another Kiwi on here has adopted some of that famous Dunedin sound.  Hoping you post more.
