Interesting introduction. If  do not mind a suggestion and hope you are not offended by it, , if you know someone with a stage that would look like a live event you could do one clearer with the same introductions. That way you would look like you were working when it was made.

If you like a more traditional turner here is one that is as accurate as one I have that costs lots and I like the size better: http://www.guitarcenter.com/DAddario-Pl … 4478644.gc

Several others carry the same turner.

Practice, practice , practice. That was my learning method.

I completely agree with you. Most days I practice 2 to 3 hours. The only time I do not is I stop 3 days before a concert to rest my hands. The older I get the more I practice so I will not loose what I gained from years of playing. I have always played with calluses rather than finger nails. The one time I grew my nails longer nails they went flying off as I played.  The founding fathers of modern day classical guitar players all played without using nails.

Great Find. He reminded me of  Kramer from Seinfeld in looks, not how he played.

Baldguitardude you did a great job on both songs. Enjoyed Jack and Diane and that is not an easy song to do as well as you did it.

First it is good to see you back posting, welcome back. I like what you have done in the past so I am sure you will figure out a way to make the song work for Chordie.

Badeye      cool

Badeye thank you. Sam Lightnin' Hopkins is perfect for blues. I have listened to him before and he plays almost the same guitar sound on each song with different words. Good choice to list.

TIGJK  I always like to  read and hear you perform your songs. You are a folk singer who is the only one who can truly feel what you write about. Really nice.

Last winter we got 16" one time and that seemed  like a lot. If I had the type of snow Russell_Harding has I would move to a warmer area. That much is too deep to clear or for a snow blower. I guess they would have to stock enough groceries for the entire winter. How long does it take for that much snow to melt?  And then where does that much water go?

I have never had a problem either. If your mouse had auto scroll you might remove the battery to reset it and try it again.

so many  choice songs i can't play !

Welcome to Chordie. From reading both of your posts, and you have been playing for 20+ years are there chords you can not play? Do a search for some of your favorite artists and then looks at the songs listed. You can also do a song search for songs you like. If the chords are not to your liking you can change the key to a song to show other chords that might be more to what you want to play.

Tenement Funster  thank you for posting this one. I enjoyed it and watching  Andrea Valeri play. Also noticed he used a thumb pick and think on the steel string  it enhanced his bass strings.  I often practice with my eyes closed  and noticed he played most of this song with his eyes closed. If you know your guitar and what you are playing you do not have to look at your guitar to play.

I have seen Dylan 4 times and the first time he was touring with Paul Simon. Dylan went on for an hour, then Paul Simon for an hour, and then they played several songs together. The sound of those two singing at the same time was like oil and water mixed.

The other times Dylan was great. In the time period you saw him I wonder if it was beer or something else.  Do you remember the Byrds? They sang Dylan better than anyone else including Dylan.

badeye I listen to oldies, blues, and not usual country. When I listened to the song you listed I have heard it. Also I listen to classical guitar on CD's and usually compared my playing and timing to those. If they are considered more a "grand father" of playing like Andrés Segovia if I sound different than his CD then I am wrong and I still learn from listening.

jonathancw Welcome to Chordie. That is a nice post and your first one. When I do the same thing  and look at the artist, unless the songs are listed by album released, they should be by the song title. You might need to clear your browser history.

Hope you keep posting.

I don't know how I missed this one. Just watch and listened to it and can not stop laughing. Just sent it to a couple of friends to watch it too.
