neophytte, that was really good, original and I like how you put it all together visually.  I liked the sound of the birds in the background too big_smile  Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well its been great to see everyone participating in this on such short notice and our first month back on FSOTM.  Fingers and toes crossed I can get mine up b4 this month finishes.

lol beamer smile  Now that sounds like an idea for a FSOTM, performing a song with the word ghost in it, might use that for May smile

So good to see you all on here and commenting and participating smile   Looking forward to hearing your song neophytte.   As for me the song I have been trying to do is failing terribly even when I transpose the chords to try and find chords that suit my voice, so it`s back to the drawing board for me to find another song.

Roger, that was a nice surprise tonight to see you had put a song up, loved it.  It had a such a gentle and heartfelt sound to it, I really felt welcomed back listening to it smile

Hey Zurf,  great to hear from you.  Yep I`m awake and ready to start pumping out music again, unlike yourself with new equipment I haven't updated anything, still only got my little held recorder.   It will be soon be time for you all to get out the cheese please for your ears when I start  trying to perform again as haven't sung or played instruments in so long.  I always remember that tv show 'Hello Hello' and the woman couldn't sing to save herself and all the people at the bar used to put cheese in their ears when she sang big_smile  Will look forward to hearing your song and the new equipment.  As for Neophytte from Aussie, I am sure he will turn up at some stage.

Thanks again everyone, hope as many of you will participate in FSOTM as possible, remember its a mixture of covers and originals.  High fives to Loremaster and originator Peatle for starting it off for us all smile

Awesome Peatle, so glad you made a start on FSOTM and you get extra brownie points for starting us off on it smile  I really enjoyed the originality of it too and the blues.  Great your mate helped you out too with the acoustics.  AWESOME and I APPLAUD you Peatle smile

Hi all, since this is the first one of the year and first one in a long time, I`m looking for any SUGGESTIONS you might have for FEATURED SONG OF THE MONTH FOR APRIL 2022.

Looking for SONG COVERS or any ORIGINAL SONGS you have written relating to THE WORLD, e.g., current events or past world events.  Happy or sad, eventful, interesting, world changing, whatever song you can find about the world.

READY!   SET!   GO!

Hi everyone, looking forward to starting the FSOTM again with you all.

So, for the first FSOTM for MARCH 2022, it seems fitting we do songs involving the words Welcome Back, Hello, Hi, Good To See You, How Have You Been, Greetings or any such song that involves a welcoming back, missed you type vibe to it.

You can do a COVER or an ORIGINAL that you have written.

So … HAVE FUN ...  READY!   SET!   GO!

Hi everyone,  hope your all keeping well.  After a months holiday in January, I am back to reality in February, only to find our computer died a sudden death.  So with the new comp up and running finally I hopefully will be on here a bit more.

Hi to everyone,
long time no see from me on here.  I hope your all doing well in this funny old world at the moment.  I have been absent with lots of things happening in our family and life in general.  Two big things that happened was the passing of both my Mother and my Father within 5 months of each this last year and with all that is involved in that with clearing out their home and selling the family home etc.  Another was the passing of my mother in-laws partner late last year and prior to that my granddaughter in ICU with whooping cough.  So its not been such a great time for us the last couple of years.
So hopefully with all that horrible news behind us,  I will try to pop in a bit more, most likely from February 2022 when Christmas and holidays are all over and done with.  It might be a bit of a mission trying to remember how to do things on here again lol.

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, great New Year and hopefully see you in February smile

Hiya neophytte, yes I hope to restart it in February next year smile

wow arkady, i totally agree with the comments above.  Excellent, you have a great talent and I can totally see these as sound tracks on movies or even a documentary.  Thanks for sharing.

TIG ...... thanks so much for your great feedback.  Yes, it`s a thought provoking song for sure, I always enjoy this song when I hear it on the radio or where ever, definitely tugs at the heart, makes me sad for people living in this situation.

Classical Guitar ..... thanks also for your wonderful feedback.  On this particular song I used a guitar which I am still learning to play.  In regards to my ukulele`s though,  I have a few actually but the two I use the most are my Ibanez electric/acoustic cut away ukulele which is a concert size.  The other one I use a lot is my Kala 8 string tenor which I have made into a 6 string as I prefer 6 strings to 8 for the sound effect, however, i am able to put it back to 8 string if i want.  I don`t play my soprano size ukes much these days, except I do take one soprano uke away on holiday with me that lives in the camper van.

TF ........... gosh thanks so much as well for the amazing feedback, really encouraging for me.  I think this song is one of those ones it has a lot of feeling in it with the lyrics.

Peatle ......... thank you also for the awesome feedback.  I do like to try covering different styles as there are so many different styles out there that I like, to many lol.  I think the only stuff I am not really keen on is heavy metal and opera.

What no names yet? yikes

TIG ..... still a great song written by you and of course not to mention how it was covered vocally and musically.   Loved it as much as I did the first time listening to it.  This could easily be heard on the radio and people sing along to it.

neo .... great guitar work on ~Sunny~.  The guitar made it i think on this one.  ~I can see clearly now~, an oldie but a goodie.  I think of the 2 songs, Sunny was the better, your guitar work really worked on this one.

Hi lethanh, yes sure have heard of that song, I think most people would know  it.  Are you going to perform it for us?

Here is my quick Cover tonight of the song "Luka" by Suzanne Vega.  I am thankful I have never been abused  physically but my heart goes out to those that have been and live in this atmosphere of violence.

A couple of mistake in my recording but didnt have time to re-record.
