I have a mid 70's Melody 12er and I use one of my Jim Dunlop 83CB capos when I have a need with no problem. I have to add that she does have a zero fret and an incredible low action which may make it more suitable.

Yes Sammy, very easily.
Click the white square box to the left of the song title (or titles) that you want to move. Go down to the bottom of the page. To the left of the box with 'move' written in it select which songbook you want to move the song(s) to. Then click the green 'move' in the box and Hey Presto, it is done.

Thank you Kev for keeping us informed,
So pleased that he is out of danger and recovering well, still rooting for him.
Roger
Great looking guitar!

I am lucky, I never have to practice as I teach between one and four hours a day so I get a lot of playing done as a matter of course. Then again, I am geriatric and retired so I have a good excuse for not practicing but you, Young Zurf, have no excuse. Get your finger out and get them to work on that guitar of yours.

I am pleased you let us know Kev. If you are in contact with him please add me to the well wishers. Hoping for a speedy, and complete, recovery.

I have been following your songwriting tread with interest. I hope that it gets completed as, to the best of my knowledge, it has only been done once before (albeit slightly differently) in 2008.
It started here: http://www.chordie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=9548
and finished here: http://www.chordie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=9837
and the finished song is still on Myspace if you follow the link.
OK it was my idea, which is why it comes to mind; it was fun to do but a lot of work and much private communication to get everything together.
Good Luck, I have my finger crossed for another Chordie collaboration.
Roger
P.S. There is also a third post, a very long one, explaining the ins and outs of getting it done: http://www.chordie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=9844
and if you read that you are a real glutton for punishment ![]()
** I just noticed that the second link listed was the same as the first.... 'Senior Moment'. I have amended it now **
It is working fine on my laptop using Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer.
If you are having difficulties please give details of what you are trying to use it on. There are so many different ways of accessing the internet these days that you have to be more specific with what you are using, what software and browser, to enable Per to resolve these issues.

Selso's question has reminded me of one of my queries. I was brought up with the following definitions:
To me an artist is a guy/gal who draws, paints or sculpts.
A person who performs (be it acting, dancing or music) is an artiste.
The pronunciation and spelling is different, but I have noticed on TV and in magazines/papers this definition does not seem to be used much.
Has it been officially changed? Is it due to laziness and auto spell-checking? Or are youngsters just not taught correct English these days?
Roger
Nice to have you back with us Selso. I hope all is well with you and your family.
Roger
Please send message, with information of what is being used, operating system, what browser and preferably a screenshot to admin@chordie.com

Could it be as simple as a screen resolution problem forcing the boxes out of sight? Please try holding the 'ctrl' button and pressing '-' and see if it brings it back in view.

Hi Ken,
Great to see you about; as Ark stated a rather dark view, but a sign of the times. Only the bad makes the news, the good is ignored and that does not help our perspective on life. You are absolutely right we "DON'T WANT IT, DON'T NEED IT, DON'T WANT IT".
I hope all is well with you.
Roger
Hi Amy,
I have been looking into getting to you and I am afraid that it needs two stop-overs and if:
I leave Faro at 11:30, I get to Dublin at 14:25;
I then leave Dublin at 16:00 to get to New York at 23:30;
then I leave New York at 02:40 to get to Syracuse at 04:07 (local time 23:07).
That is 17.5 hours travelling without having to worry about getting to yours from there............

......so I have booked it. ![]()
See you in August.
Roger
If yours had a slanted bridge PU then it must have had a single and these all have humbuckers which cannot be slanted. Personally I like the SSH set up better than the SSS.
Nice looking guitars; better get putting those dimes away. ![]()
Roger
Fun project, keep us posted with progress (including photos) please.
Roger
Doug rest assured I am not getting addicted. I only have 4 electric and 4 acoustic guitars plus a uke, mandolin and violin. So I am well with normal tolerances. ![]()
Looks like I am going to have to learn some Brad Paisley and definitely his 'Alcohol' song for Chordiefest IV.
Roger
Sorry for your loss Ken.
You spoke about Steve to me at Chordiestock and how he hoped to get all his buddies together for a last party and for you to sing for him, I am sorry he paddled away up that last river before it could be arranged.
Condolences to you and his family and I hope you and Jen are OK,
Roger
Congratulations Jim! That is one great guitar you have there, and the next thing you know you and Amy will be playing duets..... for many years to come.
Here's a little inspiration: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WrnMQu8XWI
Happy NGD!
I did not know you were that talented Doug. Great duet!
Roger
I saw a remark from Microsoft that there will, for a limited time, be a free upgrade for 7 and 8 users.
Roger
YouTube will not allow me to pass comment Russ.
Great shot and great times, Bill.
Roger
P.S. I added after so the picture would show in your post. Hope you don't mind.
