Zurf, awesome thankyou.  LOL all good, look forward to listening to your March effort      

Oh wow jets60, that`s an amazing song you have written and very thoughtful about your neighbors situation.   I am very much looking forward to seeing how you put this one all together.  I will pop a note into FSOTM suggestions for May incase anyone else wants to attempt your song. 

Brian I agree, its great to see these original songs coming out again from you all.     

unclejoe, great to see you joining in and you did a great cover of that song.  Nice to hear your guest singer on your number too. That was the song I tried first to do and struggled to do, no matter what chords I changed it too, I just couldn't nail it but you did, so well done to you. 

neophytte, thankyou, hopefully onwards and upwards for me, its been awhile since I have touched those strings or sung.

Ok looking forward to seeing what everyone does.     

Ok, my very sad attempt at this months song is up.  I changed lyrics in the song to say Hello Chordie, from Louis Armstrongs Hello Dolly.  Louis lovely version of Hello Dolly is of course jazz but honestly I am so rusty playing any instrument after 3 years of hardly playing anything, its like starting all over again and I couldnt play jazz on my uke at all, so I gave up.  I also gave up on the first song I tried ~Welcome Back~ after trying it in various chords and not able to perform it.  I also struggled to come up with an original like you clever lot have.  So in a mad rush, last minute, here it is, warts and all.

That was great easybeat, comments posted on soundcloud.  Really enjoyed it, suited you vocally, cant fault your guitar playing ever and I liked the lyrics cause I agree, we all got to do things to keep our spirit up.     

neophytte, nicely done once again, it will be interesting to see how you re-do this song after 4 years.  If your style has changed much, vocals etc.  I actually thought I might at some stage go back and re-visit some of the old ones I have done that were originals and see how or if I have changed, improved, gotten worse lol    I like your choice of song suggestion too for April as I am a big fan of Cat Stevens.

Zurf, so good, I have always loved that song and being a Cat Stevens fan, its great to hear him being covered.  You played it really well and sang it well too, nice one and great to see you back too.     

Peatle, good to see your still writing and performing songs.  Your conifer tree song did indeed sound like a lament, well done.  I liked the bending of the guitar strings in places too. 
We have been on a mission here too cutting down certain trees that have just gotten to big or are in the wrong place sun wise or some just dropping to many leaves and making a huge mess.  Having said that, I love trees, so it was with reluctance some of them, but needed to be done.     

neophytte, that was really good, original and I like how you put it all together visually.  I liked the sound of the birds in the background too   Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well its been great to see everyone participating in this on such short notice and our first month back on FSOTM.  Fingers and toes crossed I can get mine up b4 this month finishes.     

So good to see you all on here and commenting and participating    Looking forward to hearing your song neophytte.   As for me the song I have been trying to do is failing terribly even when I transpose the chords to try and find chords that suit my voice, so it`s back to the drawing board for me to find another song.     

Hey Zurf,  great to hear from you.  Yep I`m awake and ready to start pumping out music again, unlike yourself with new equipment I haven't updated anything, still only got my little held recorder.   It will be soon be time for you all to get out the cheese please for your ears when I start  trying to perform again as haven't sung or played instruments in so long.  I always remember that tv show 'Hello Hello' and the woman couldn't sing to save herself and all the people at the bar used to put cheese in their ears when she sang   Will look forward to hearing your song and the new equipment.  As for Neophytte from Aussie, I am sure he will turn up at some stage.     

Awesome Peatle, so glad you made a start on FSOTM and you get extra brownie points for starting us off on it   I really enjoyed the originality of it too and the blues.  Great your mate helped you out too with the acoustics.  AWESOME and I APPLAUD you Peatle
