Hi selso
Chordpro all done with no spaces
1st line type          [tsong]  "without the t"           this sets up the program. note square brackets

2nd line type         {t: plus name of song}          this sets the tittle note curly brackets

3rd line type         {st:Author name /date}         this sets up ownership  note curly brackets

Once this is done what I do is type out the complete song as it should be read.Try and use commas where they should be as it helps with the flow when reading

Once you have the words written....

Last type                     [/song]                    this stops the program....square brackets

Then you go to start of lyrics. At the beginning of each word where there is a chord

type                           [A] or [Bm] or [F#m]  this will put the chord name in.... square brackets

Above the start of each chorus type   {soc}   start of chorus, this makes it purdy "curly bracket"

Below the end of each chorus            {eoc}   end of chorus, this stops the purdy "curly bracket"

There are other tricks to learn but start here first to get the hang of it.

Important...............Never post right away.....Click on preview to view what it should look like.If OK than post it. If not than scroll down and look for the mistakes.
Sometimes it is a good idea to put a space between each line so it doesn't look cluttered

I know it looks complicated but it really isn't.Take your time and feel good when you see the end results

Hope this helps

Hi selso,:) Welcome to Chordie

I just played your song and it played just fine.I clicked on the link from your original post.
Nice work on this piece.Sounds like a fun song to play.
It would be nice to see the written words as the vocals came across kinda muffled. If you need a hand with Chordpro just give a holler.

Nice work

Thanks for commenting smile

Hi lucretiamark. smile I see you've been a member for quite some time.
Are we going to have the pleasure of reading/hearing any home grown tunes from you?
Thanks for the comment

Hi Phill

Yup this is a melancholy piece that I would like to have recorded for this weekend.Funny how  getting out the words for just one song lifts off a weight and relieves the pressure.
I'm feeling much gooder so hopefully I'll get at er.
Thanks Again smile

Been gone awhile and hope to get back into writing more often.
This is a song I have been trying to write for sometime now and just couldn't find any words.Todays events in the states helped but we still have a long ways to go. It's about my perspective on our world, from growing up, to today and hoping for a better future for all to live by.
Played in the style of a slow Springsteen ballad,no chorus with a harp and keyboard in the breaks.

C/G played 032013    Cmaj9 played 320013
Enjoy smile

Hi Lena smile
A beautifully written piece that hits close to home for me.
Taunted Dreams helps me to think, reflect, and hold no regret.
Tomorrow is a different day. smile

Thanks for this.

Kenny

looking forwards to your next piece.

First I would like to say congrats to Mr Obama. He's in for a rough ride with what he has inherited.
Being a Canadian and in my mid-fifties I have heard a lot of politicians speak over time and they all have one thing in common....As good or poor of a public speakers they are, they always manage to come across as politicians. That is where Mr Obama differs. He doesn't come across as a politician.Whether he can fix or at least start to fix our problems is yet to be determined but I am glad he's in our corner and will back him 100%.
I was watching CNN at 4 AM EST and Washington had 10's of thousands already gathering in the streets.I believe they where there not only for the first African American president but also because the people are genuinely happy to see Mr Bush out of office(he is not at fault for the quagmire we are in, but he didn't do the right things to help) as he is a text book politician and the world doesn't need another text book politician.

I'm with you Ken as I distrust all politicians for the snakes they are, with the exception of Mr Obama. smile

Hi Phill smile
As I suspected...another quality recording with image intensive lyrics.Well Done to you.
I haven't been around much as I've had my own rut to bust, but it is a new year so I will have to smack myself upside the head and get at'er.

Hi Radchael,
Learn as much as you can while you can when your in your rut.Your bound to snap out of it when the time is right.Play with as many people as you can(I believe that is where you will learn more and pick up little tricks to advance your talents).
In the mean time may I suggest "Nights in White Satin".A great song that will fit your repatoire nicely.

Hope this helps smile

In the spirit of the worldwide love for music I am curious about your favorite music video/song.
It doesn't matter what language it is sung in,what style of music it is or who sings/plays it.As long it is recorded from your home country and it evokes an honest emotion.
For me, in Canada, the artist Luba performed a cover of "When a Man Loves a Woman" a bunch of years back.I listened to it today for the first time in a long time and it still gives me chills.
Anyone else have a song/video that inspires you please post it up.

Enjoy Luba  "When a Man Loves a Woman" the live version

Hi marc and a Very Merry Christmas to You. smile

I just had a listen and Holiday Travell played A-OK for me. I really liked the way you led the song from the beauty and serenity of Christmas to the fast pace and hustle of what Christmas turns into. Very well written and mixed. You put a lot of time in this one. KUDOS to you. smile

Great Song

Kenny

Very Cool Link Ken.
He did fabulous work in the video. The eagle must have taken quite a bit of time and thought to complete.Lots of cool pics in the gallery to.

Great Point Doug
As beautiful as the artwork is this type of art should only be created by a person that is extremely qualified at operating chainsaws.

There is a free program out my boss was showing me(I forget what it is called) It allows me(for example) to access your computer, take over your mouse, search and fix problems, transfer files etc.etc. or do whatever I want to do.Both parties have to agree as it uses a roaming password and can be shutdown by either user at anytime so people can sleep at night and not worry about the second party hacking into your puter.
Not sure if that is what you are looking for but an interesting piece of info. smile

Very Cool indeedy Alan and badeye.

Real good pics from Ireland Alan.Artistic works left out for public viewing should be mandatory.
