See, Zurf, don't that feel good to get it off your chest.  Now if the waitresses could only read your comments.

I suppose #1 would be when the road is being worked on and I get redirected into the single line. No problem there...its the 2 or 3 drivers that feel they can drive up to the front of the line and poke there nose in until someone lets them in. Unless they're pregnant and about to give birth someone else can let them in. I gladly put up with their swearing and dirty looks cause I gotta be somewhere to.
Cheers

It's these drivers that make the line go slower.  Yeah, that's another of mine.

I wonder if they get tired off people swearing and giving them dirty looks...I know I would.

I am convinced that that most people who do this have no idea they are pissing people off and cutting in line.  That is what is really sad.

Kenny, there is no one to make you nervous on the Skype sessions.  We all play and sing and make mistakes and have fun doing it.

You are starting to see the different variations surface.  Everything is fair if it sounds good.

Some good songsthere KAP

I guess quite a few people did this, but I couldn't find any on YouTube that sounded close to the one I knew.  Anyway, try this and maybe adapt it to your style.

Absolutely, challenge is good, Zurf.  Sounds like it may work out.

I'm the wrong person to answer this because barre chords hurt my wrist too much and I am too lazy to learn them.  It is OK to leave a chord a little early if it makes it easier for you.  You just have to judge the sound change for yourself.  Alternate fingering is also OK as long as it sounds good in the song.  In music, chords especially, you don't always have to follow the rules.  A lot of people cheat on chords and it sounds great.  Yes, it's better to learn the barre chords the right way, but don't always force yourself to follow the rules.  If it sounds good to you, go with it.

This song was done by someone else years ago, but I can't think of who.  I used to like it.

On which show are you talking about.  I don't think they do that any more, but I could be wrong.  The Europeans are still lip syncing on musical shows, I think.

Really good, MB, on the spur of the moment.  Gives us a visual we don't necessarily want, but good anyway.

Totally in a different direction, but I am amazed at the ridiculous way in which some guys are wearing their pants way down below their posterior.  I stood behind a guy in a checkout line the other night who couldn't even walk right because his pants were so low (almost around his knees) that he had to just kind of waddle for fear his pants would actually fall to the floor.  Just don't see the merits of this type of dressing.

The dress code (what dress code?) these days is appalling.  I am not a high class person that wears slacks and a nice shirt all the time, but I agree with the pants sitting halfway down your butt.  What is cool about that anyway.  You can tell they are not comfortable with it because they are constantly pulling them up an inch so they won't fall to the ground.  Another dress thing for me is the young kids that look like they just got out of basketball practice, long baggy basketball shorts down to mid calf and an old T-shirt 3 sizes too big.  And this is the way they dress most of the time, no matter where they go.  I relaize that this is the style and that is what they will follow, but hey.......

Man, you guys have it bad.  I agree with many of the comments, I am sorry to say.  Another one for me is anyone standing in a store doorway texting, so you have to say excuse me.  I just want to kick their ass.  Texting or talking on the cell phone while shopping or driving.  I understand we all get calls sometimes when we are driving, but I make it quick and tell them I'll call back.  Some people will drive next to you for many miles, 20 minutes or more and they are on the phone the whole time.  That's the ones I hate.

Well bunbun, I also feel for you on this.  I have back pain off and on, but nothing like yours. I can't sit in a car formore than an hour without stopping to stretch.  I hope you get it all worked out buddy.

I thought I had started one of these way off topic discussions a long time ago, but I couldn't find it.  So, lets blow off a little steam and talk about what really gets you going, what makes you mad.  I'll start off with two things that are at the top of my list.

1.  People who leave shopping carts in the middle of the parking lot and you look around as you drive up and see the cart return section about 20 feet away.  What's up with that?  Lazy people, pure and simple.

2.  Then there are the people in cars that swerve in and out of traffic just to get one car length ahead.  I know they are in a hurry because they pull right in front of you then pass the next car and pull back into the other lane.  You can watch them do this for miles ahead of you. This one really gets me going.

Anyway, got that off my chest.  What bothers you?

Yep, most of the good ones do or did drugs during their climb to the top.  Maybe that's how they got there.  It certain'y didn't hury their music for the most part.
