Yes you can have a conference call on Skype but, because of the time delay in transmission, only one person can play at a time, However if you turn your mic off it is possible to play along with someone else
.
Great fun and well overdue for us having another session.
Roger
Great to have you back with us and lucky that you had Deadstring's e-mail address to put out a distress call for you. Lesson to be learnt here, always make sure you have a fellow Member's contact details in case of emergency.
Glad to hear you are on the mend health wise too.
Roger
Normally ctrl and minus does the trick, if not try clearing out cookies.

Thanks Jeff,
I am sure that would go down real well, me sporting a treble clef on my face........
Roger
Filipa has been a student of mine for 5 years and she came for her lesson today sporting this:

I think I might get one the same
Roger
Nice looking bass, glad you are pleased with it.
Roger
PS I added the '/' to the ending [img] that was needed so your photo would show.
Here is the complete scale, so, as Joe pointed out, if you know the chords in 'C' but want the song in 'D' you go up two frets. If you want it in 'E' you go up four frets. I hope this helps.

F# or Gb

Bob Cummins wrote:The way dudes asked about is the way Rickenbacker 12-string guitars get their unique sound. But, as others pointed out, it would require re-working the nut and bridge slots. The reason Ricks sound different is that the human ear hears the very slight delay in the picked strings even though the difference is less than a second. We end to remember the last note played. It would be interesting to see if Rickenbacker would be interested in making an acoustic guitar similar to a 360-12.
Thank you for this Bob. I did not know that Rickenbacker strung this way.

Phill, Roberto is Dutch and he goes to an English speaking school here so his English is perfect (he also speaks Portuguese fluently).
He soon realised his mistake from our reaction.

From 18:00 to 19:00, Rock Choir Members, Naomi (a 14 year old singer), Roberto (a 14 year old lead guitarist), Bruno (16 year old bass player), Howard and myself have a session to sort out new stuff for the choir. It is at the shop so there are a number of guitars around including Howard's Ovation Thunderbolt.
This evening Roberto went to Howard and asked, "Do you mind if I play your Ovulation?".......Well we just cracked up.
When I could speak again I told him he could, but only for a short period.

Your dear wife has had a bad time of it, thankfully she has had you there for support and seems to be improving well.
Kind thoughts and best wishes to both of you.
Roger
My thoughts are with you and your dear wife as you suffer this ordeal together.
Roger
Wishing you a swift recovery.
Roger
Condolences to you and you family.
Roger
That is one fine looking guitar you have now. All the work has been worth it, you must be very pleased.
Roger
Please post photos to show the progress starting with what comes in the box.

We do not allow any form of bad language on the Chordie forum, not even abbreviated or letters replaced with asterisks, so I have edited your post.
Chordie is a search engine and finds the songs that are hosted on other sites. The only songs actually on Chordie are the original songs in the Songwriting section which are posted by the copyright holder. What other sites allow is out of our hands but we have many female and youngster visitors and members and we are very strict on policing to keep the forum a friendly and welcoming place to visit for everyone.
It is possible for a Chordie Member to add a comment to a song so, if you or anyone else finds, anything offensive added by Chordie Member, then please report it, and we will take the appropriate action.

Try pressing control and minus (ctrl and -) to reduce your screen resolution. This usually does the trick.

It is not my guitar it is a customer's. It had been shipped from Sweden and arrived like this. The owner brought it in and gave it to us to break for spares..... he had a nice surprise next time he called in

With wooden dowels and some strong wood glue it could be repaired. Here is the before and after of an Ibanez that I repaired a couple of years ago although with the long break it did not need dowels:

Great to see you back, Les. You have been missed so be a good girl and don't slope off again
Roger
Nice to see you are having some NGD luck after the last episode

Looks like you got a bargain.
