Good recording of a great song ,i played it at the last folk night I did before my illness and it went really well .The electric version is great

Well done Curt both are good strong songs and I too feel a little Neil Young influence there however being totaly constructive in my comments I must say that for me there is a little too much distortion on home of the brave I would like to hear the guitar cleaned up a littlle but if it was your intention to have a dirty acoustic sound then ok its still a good song ,keep em coming

As I've  progressed  my pedal board  has  got smaller ,In the  uk  if Im using  a shared back line  I  select  a  clean channel and  use  an old boss  be5  4 effect  pedal distortion /compression /chorus /delay. If I  use  my  own am I  use  a  line  6 spider   with  the  4  channels  programmed  to  clean /twang/ overdrive  and  overdrive  with  delay   ,same  applies  to  my  greek  set up  except  I  use  4 separate  joyo  pedals  instead of  the  boss  with  a  shared back line  .For  my  solo  set  I  add  a  boss  rc2 looper  and  a  zoom   multi  pedal for  the  drum loops  both  modified  with  external  switches  for  ease of  control. Occasionally I  use  a wah wah too  but  recently   not .

Ditto all above Phill great observations and interpretations ,will it become a song or have you forgot the chords ..lol

Jim I played this  last night at our folk club to a full house and got a great response  well done for writing such a great song

made a  start  today   by  cleaning  the  box  out   some  one  had stuck paper inside the  box and  some  plastic  foam  as  it  had  been used for storing  fishing tackle I've scrubbed  the  box out  and now  I  can mark and  cut it  to  accept  the  neck so its  off to  the  wood  yard  for  some  oak  or  mahogany
