Russ.
Been busy getting my fingers dirty at work than coming home and sleeping. smile
Looks like a fun challenge that hopefully fellow chordians will jump in on.
I'll see what my sleepy mind can come up with.
Thanks for the brainteaser.

Very good word play you have going on there Phill. smile
"My Dog" has a "Cat in the Hat" feel to it. Very easy going and a good campfire song...especially if you have some children with you.
Well Done.

Thanks for your kind words Phill, James and getfiddle.
The chord progression that you play Phill is way beyond my means as I am still in the re-learning stage of playing guitar.Presently I am maybe about 1 week away from posting Precious Angel at MySpace. My current hold up is learning how to record properly, as this will be my first song posted I would like it to be something I am pleased with.
Getting lots of help from Russell on this which is a big confidence booster. smile
The last battle is the dreaded "Mic Psych" as every newbie goes through... I'm guessing.
I also hate the sound of my voice.
Practicing singing while trying to keep time is not as easy as it looks or sounds either, but I'm gettin gooder.

Thanks Again smile

The link from Southpaw is a good one to draw from. Also I posted a link to Justin Hines in the bands and artists section. It is a good link to draw inspiration from even though he has a different  problem. The human spirit is an incredible thing.

Keep at it and get gooder!!!

My heart goes out to the family and friends of this little angel called to heaven. You always hear things like this happening and always think it will happen else where.Sound advise that should be taken to heart.

Not far from doing some recording.Hopefully sometime this month if I can get up some nerve.

Kenny

I shot this link to Russell for his opinion and then I figured I'd post it on the board.
Melodyne is recording software that allows you to do much more than regular software. For one example you can if you have recorded a C chord on piano or guitar you can manipulate each individual note how ever you want to with out affecting any other notes. This is just one example, you should check out the vids to see what this program can do as it looks to me to be very impressive. It's pretty cool but I'm guessing expensive. Also check out the plugin videos.Let me know what you think
