TF

That was terrific !
The sax player was outrageous - I thought that he might be blind by his movements and the guy helping him put the sax down - I looked it up - sure enough he was blind since the age of 4 !

Good stuff my friend - keep '  em coming.

That was intense - excellent guitar playing.

There a couple of times where the stretching of her fret hand is incredible.
You can actually see the muscles of her hand, including the fingers and wrist  at work
- it must take about a millennium to get to that point !
She is into the music - it's like it comes from her soul.
It was a beautiful composition to listen too.

Thanks for sharing.

Beamer - I agree with all of the above - quite a bit of imagery there in the lyric

and remember - tomorrow is only yesterday in about 48 hours.  smile

Phill

I just listened to the demo  of it - wow! it sounds awesome - everything you described and more!
It was selling for $ 483 - I guess if I was actually a good guitar player and was doing gis - I would buy one - but for me - it's outside of my $ for an investment-  not worth that much for me tojust play in my guitar room at home.
Thanks
for sharing - really cool.

I am a coach of soccer and I always tell my teams  " Speed Kills!"

I am now aware that in guitar playing - same is true !
He is awesome - reminds me a little bit of Jose Feliciano.
Thanks for sharing

Roger,

That is an incredibly beautiful gesture.  My upbringing was based the Salvation Army. Captain Chefstall was instrumental in helping my family out when times were tough. My brothers all played in the Salvation Army band.
I, like Phill, noticed how you have managed to surround yourself with beautiful women whilst doing what you love ( playing music) !  GENIUS !!!!

So as I was looking that photo- I decided to a little exploring as I generally do - so I went to the paper that published the article. I was immediately drawn ( I think bc I am a History teacher) to the article - " Twilight of the Pepper Empire"  by Peter Boooker.   It was a great article - and led me to read a couple of others related to the topic.

As I finished reading - I had this aha moment -      that title -  Twilight of the Pepper Empire  and the historical events ------   wow TF - I really think this could be the basis for a Progressive Rock song!!!   I don't know anything about how these kinds of songs are written, or how the composing would be arranged, - but it just struck me that it would be a really cool one if done correctly.

anyway - congrats to you (and your Harem smile ) on the $$$$$$ raised - I know that the families receiving it will cherish it dearly as mine did way back when.

Thanks for sharing

Jim

Clapton !!!!
He is deaf now !

My hearing is impeded - patrly an inherited thing as most of family has the same thing - but I certainly should have worn ear protection around all the power machinery I used in my shop over the years ( I do now - but it's a bit late! sad  )

I would appreciate it if my fellow chordians would  type a little louder in the future !  smile

That was interesting - good music - lyrics had several twists to them.

Good stuff - reminds me a bit of Genesis.

A question - why does the keyboard player have two keyboards - some bands have even more.  Are they in different keys of have different sounds or something?

That is really,really good !!
It reminds me of something that maybe Tears For Fears, Kraftwerk, Moody Blues or Eurythmics might play.  ( Give Annie Lenox a call to sing your lyrics!)  smile

WELL DONE CTECH !!!

Congratulations to you and your wife Joe !!  This is an awesome blessing.

When I first look at your post and saw NKD  I thought to myself - what the heck is the K for? I was trying to think of something associated with guitars and said to my self - I might s well check it out b/c the only thing I can think of is a new KID Day - and lo and behold I was right !!! smile

Wonderful times - I think, despite all the trials and tribulations, it really is the best time of my life - when my kids were living in my home.
I now enjoy my grand kids as well, but still miss those years and wish I could have a do over.
Here is a video   I put together on the song I posted earlier on Chordie.   https://youtu.be/LV_ZRlMnoFU

Congats again Joe !
