I am very disappointed.

Having spending over an hour re-writing this in cho-pro and deciding to check it against the song on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irG-kUQRi14 before sending to to ´westernman´ I find that:

a/ The key is Bm not Am.

b/ The chords are wrong

c/ Two identical (and wrong) versions are already on-line at ´classic country lyrics and ´guitar party´.

Why do I waste my time???

...by the way. Most hosting sites require songs to be written in chopro for correct formatting so I have copied your work and I will return it to you in a day or two, re-written in the correct manner.

It is illegal to post copyright material and have had to edit your post. Sadly the problems come, not from the authors of the music, but from the publishers. They are very quick to litigate against infringements so Chordie does not host any songs, apart from the original ones written by our Members. All the songs you see are gathered from others sites on the Internet and the presentation formatting here makes it look as they from here, but they are not.

However there are sites that do accept and host songs. Please get it out there and use the link in Resources to to get it shown on Chordie.

The loss of the right hand buttons is usually a monitor resolution problem. Try pressing 'Ctrl' and '-' several times to see if you can see it. (You can reverse any changes with 'Ctrl' and '+' if needed).

It is difficult to get the balances right when recording all at once. It is easier when each track is recorded individually, although you can still spend hours making minor adjustments to get balances right even then. smile

I am looking forward to the new recordings.

Sorry I am a bit late in replying, I missed this. Perhaps another senior moment!!

Real good although I would have liked to have had the vocals a bit louder. Well done and thank you,

OK SIR....noted

i hate being called sir too, i used to hate it when people used to call me Mr Williams. i used to tell them, Mr Williams is my father, i wish i could still say that now.

I used to (and still do) say the same when I am called My Guppy, even though my dad left to prepare a home above for us 20 years ago.

Great minds...... ??

Graham Russel from Air Supply,
Bruce Dickinson from Irom Maiden,
Andy Fletcher from Depeche Mode,
Ian Paice from Deep Purple,

were all born in Nottingham.

However the only famous band from Nottingham is Paper Lace had hits with 'Billy Don't Be A Hero'  and 'The Night Chicago Died' in 1974

It is spelt bouzouki and it is from Greece.

My friend Howard, who owns the shop I help out in, owns and plays one. The Rock Choir was requested to perform Hava Nagila last August at a ladies birthday party and he used the bouzouki, each round got faster, eventually so fast that the singers were unable to keep up and the band took over. Great fun.

It is the true English spelling, not the shortened American way.

No prizes unfortunately just the honour of the title smile.
