Sounds like a great idea, but I haven't yet learned how to do tracks.  Or could I post my portion of the song on YouTube and someone else add it to the track?  I'm new to this, but sounds like fun.

Have you ever seen that commercial with the guy sitting on the beach holding a Carona bottle sideways, and the sail boat in the ocean looks like it's floating right into the bottle? I've actually tried it, and come to find out I'm really good at it. Now if I can only find a way to make money with this new found talent !!!

The posibilities are endless, if you've got it down.  Good luck.

For most of us, once you cross that first hurdle, it becomes easier each time.  And it is always fun.  You're on a roll. Keep the momentum going, Amy.

Very good Tel.  We always like to hear others doing what they like.  It sounds good, some good strumming there.  A lot of us here have done the same thing as you.  Started young, put it away for many years then picked it back up and enjoy it even more.

Pretty deep Naolslager.

That's really neat, Amy.  I can tell you aree getting into it.  Once you start, it's to stop, isn't it?  When we have bar-b-ques and such, people always ask me to bring out the guitar if they know I play.  I am always a little hesitant at first, but like you, once I start, I can't quit.

That sounds really good.  I use the D fingering in a lot of my songs because they are easy and add a little oomph to any song.

There are alot of songs out there with only three chords although not many come to mind.  There is one old Uriah Heep song that I like to play called Lady in Black.  it has only two chords, but sounds great.  Just Em and D.  Check the song out on YouTube.  I think you will like it.  And CCR, Bad moon Rising is D A G
And here are a few more tree chord songs.

Hip, huh?  I'll take it Baldguitar dude.  thanks.  I know you really don't have to have a good voice to sing, just the ability to carry a tune.  Yeah. Ive got a hip sound.  smile  When I am singing, I sound like I am singing the right speed, but as they say, you're own voice sounds much different when you hear it on a recording.
Yeah dino, this is done with my mixer and two mics.

Sounds great Grah1.  You have a good sound going there.

I share a few interests withh Jeome.  I love to cook and garden.  It's kind of funny, my job with the government was an Ammunition Inspector.  I have seen everything DOD has to offer.  I have been part of rebuild of older ammunition, all sizes and yes, I even fired quite a few types of munitions on the ranges throughout the world.  And got to blow up obsolete ammunition.  But, in my personal life I am not interested in these things.  I don't own a gun.

Thought I would try an old Everly Brothers tune.  The more I watch my own videos the more I realize that I have to do something to speed up my voice, I think anyway.

There's a song there somewhere.  I got pressure in my pipes and my drains real slow and my woman won't talk to me anymo.  Sounds like blues for sure.

I think Tyson has it.  I always forget those pipes that vent to ceiling.  If you called a plumber, I'll bet he would go straight for the roof.

Welcome Darlene.  You go to the songs or artists at the top of the page and there you will find all the songs.  If you find a song you want to add to your Songbook, go to the right of the page about half way down and there will be a ADD function.  This will add the song to your songbook.  Of course you need to make a songbook to start.  Hope that helps.

Good luck, Winky.  As they say, practice a lot.  That's the only thing that will get you better at it.  Learn those chords, how to hold your fingers, how to change from one to the other.  Then you can apply them to some easy songs one at a time.  Good luck again. and keep coming back here for support.

That's pretty good Roger.  Gives us a sense of how it works,  It still seems unnatural though.
