Doug and Dino,

Out of curiosity, I checked out Amtrak and a trip for just me runs $432.00 senior fare and has that connecting train in DC you mentioned, which makes no sense to me.

So if Dondra came along?....... Well, one can easily see it'd be cheaper to fly. smile

I know AMTRAK is having financial problems, but think about it: They have a monopoly on train travel here in the US! I mean WTH???/

Well, at least we exhausted those options. smile

Bill

Plane fare is cheaper, the Amtrac is Goverment run so I think you can see why.

Did you ever try doing American Pie? I would think that would be a good long song for the event.

Thanks Dino. Now you're going to make me relearn another song. roll

Easy one too play,I was thinking each person could do a line of it then it would go too the next one with the rest of the group playing behind you. Just a thought.I will not be there so have a great time.

Okay, just got back from a thorough investigation about bus fares, the ride, etc. and I don't think that's going to be a good way for me to travel. If I were 20 years younger and weren't demented, maybe. My wife just nixed it, too and she'd have to be along to handle the meds, etc.

Not gonna work riding the bus. Not a Greyhound.

smile

Thanks

Bill

Bill its not a good idea to take a greyhound,I did it cross country when I was 30 and it was hard then.sounds like you made the right call. I did not sleep or eat good on the trip. Trains are great lots of comforts, but will cost more.

You talking about the Snickers one with Danny Trejo? Pure genius!

Ya that's the one that was great and Steve Buscume as the younger brother! Has anyone seen Jerome, I have not seen him post an chordie for a couple of weeks now?

I think he is licking his wounds and still scratching his head over the pass selection instead of running Lynch, seriously I chatted with him on Facebook and he has been busy traveling for his job other then that he's fine

Thanks Russell, I was wondering because he has not been not seen him for a long time. I think a lot of us are  wondering the same thing. I see that Aaron rogers has been chosen MVP for this year!
