On this dark spot sleeps the doc
Resting Forever, ignoring the clock
The only thing that maybe 'll bring him back
is to put in his ... an old electric guitar jack

I am still laughing, who of you chordians hasn't play this game? about inscriptions on a graveyard stone? on the way to "HEAVEN" (or Hell).

Please, just don't try to use OFFENSIVE LYRICS, so no f** or sh** .
It can be very funny, it is very funny and a good training for your "CREATIVE BRAIN IDEAS".
I used my name to, and I hope you will enjoy this.
Just try to avoid  RIP's who offend other people, if you use their name.

So: have fun.
You can write so much RIP lyrics, using an ARTIST name (it is more difficult, but more funny, using words that can describe in a certain way the "would be" or "already" deceased artist) like Keith Moon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis.....

Here is one about me.

Toney, WHAT if you mail copies to others? And what is stealing? In fact I know what stealing is of course, and it seems also different from country to country. About the date, it is not difficult to change, and I just listened to some RAP music, using SAMPLES of existing songs, but they use it very clever, just 10-15 seconds.

Hawkwind after briefly being billed as Hawkwind Zoo, Hawkwind being the nickname of Turner derived from his unappealing habit of clearing his throat (hawking) and excessive flatulence (wind).
This origin of the Band's name found is so funny that I couldn't help to post it.

Sorry forgot to ask: IS THERE A REASON WHY THAT GIBSON (OR 1968) SOUNDED SO FABULOUS? with NECK: P-94 and BRIDGE: the regular Humbucker? I even don't know if it is a PAF, it can be. And if yes, I contract a hitman. lol lol lol smile

You can find P-94 pick-ups too. I, still hoping to find them back, was able to buy for 5000$ from someone in need of cash, a Fender Stratocaster 1964 ALL original + a GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM 1968, first reissue year. Because I got one, I changed the humbuckers on the 1968 by Single Coils. After removing, a P-90 is too small, and so they made P-94 just to fit in the hole where the original humbucker was. At first, they had only the neck PICK-UP, (now they sell these construction as BFG), so Bridge: HUM, neck Single. Never had a guitar, here a LES PAUL CUSTOM, who sounded better, but I returned to change Pick-Up 2. And BOOT, you know the rest of the story, I am afraid that my ex girlfriend threw away my box with the originals. Unless..... the attic.

but their men, The Kingsmen, just answered LOUIE LOUIE

Well, big Bro too? Thanks. Unfortunately I am so Tired, and my eyes stick together.
Boot, Rog, Johhny BG, Old Doll first a question Dolly: what you wrote is definitely CELTIC???? I could read and understand most of it. It is complicated, don't know if German is Celtic, however  the German "tribes" ruled ENGLAND (Danish) before beaten by Normandy. But first I thought that reir was dreaming, like rever in French.

People don't believe when I tell that I am (what I do is not important for them) a CHORDIE member, that we have almost 150.000 MEMBERS, I HAVE TIME LOOKED AROUND, I will continue looking, WE ARE THE "BIGGEST" and FASTEST GROWING SITE compared too others, even free sites, but MUSIC is already cutting the cake a lot smaller, AND I AM HAPPY that I found this SITE, and this is a probably that way for a lot of us. Thanks for helping to improve my English, I start to notice a difference, if I read stuff from the first months. LOVE YOU ALL CHORDIANS AND MAY IT CONTINUE AND GROW.

I didn't expect so much answers, but I was surprised, I only didn't play for about 10 days. The tips are still STRONGER, but before I could play very easy 2-3 hours, now 15 minutes. Because probably a lot of us suffer sometimes from this problem, I post this. I also remarked that playing ELECTRIC is EASIER than ACOUSTIC if you try playing again.

Imagine, In The House of The Rising Sun   (Lennon, Animals)

Like Upyerkilt wrote, we start again a SIMILAR TOPIC.
This time we use, if possible, FAMOUS SONG TITLES, to make a story like the CHORDIE Story.
I started it once, a month ago, but it was neglected.
UYK & your humble servant Gitaardocphil, have put the heads together, see last post on the chordie story.
This will probably be a little more difficult, because here is some thinking requiered. Once this train is rolling, and reaches full speed, it will be easier.
I don't think we can limit words, so to limit a little bit: BETWEEN 1 and 8 words.
Here is  maybe the first title, (I will always try to mention the band or performers, like Beatles, CCR, having fun and learn something extra). The first will arrive here.
I noticed a few times that the NAME of the PERFORMER can be used, like KINKS WHO, but it will be followed by a big hit. "Who" can even be used more. Kinks is CERTAIN not KINGS, but it's just a game and looks for many people like KINGS. I tried 2, and it fits.

I see a Bad Moon Rising  (CCR)

Spinal Tap, still a fantastic movie.
Ultimate guitar effect? Very difficult, but if I play the electric, really hard, distortion+phaser (sometimes flang). Or simple: no effects. That is a reason why I love playing electric on an acoustic amp. You have the crystal clear sound of your electric guitar, and the best sounding is my Fender Telecaster. I just use a KORG TONEWORKS PANDORA, giving me rhythm patterns.

Doll, did you know that I can "hypnotise"? I followed a course, 20 years ago. I was a NON believer, and that changed quit fast in a believer. I used it in practise, BIG PROBLEM: TIME!!!
I had a patient my age, and during a few months, I treated him with hypnosis (I prefer the word relaxation therapy). When the session was over, I tried to demonstrate that it is real, using a technique called post-hypnotic command. It was FUN, FUN, but you are there in function as doc.
It is all about technique, working with suggestions. I will try to explain it one day, but just this: It happens to all of us, every day. Typic example is following a MATCH on TV, or working in the garden. You are so busy, that you don't hear the bell, or coming from your garden, you bleed, and you didn't feel. Some bands did basicly the same, see the Beatles, see Mick Jagger. From the very moment, you start to see a concert, it is all that matters, another word is maybe CHARISMATIC. So if someone is interessed, open a topic, and shoot Quanswers. (combination of Question and  Answers). It's easier to remember.
A chordian quanswered a topic smile smile

Well Lena, I was in a "PHILOSOPHIC" mood yesterday, not by you. I justed wanted to explain or to tell about the meaning of CHRISTMAS.
I INSIST, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT "MUSICAL INSTRUMENT" YOU WANT UNDER A CHRISTMAS TREE.
I wrote under the bridge (in stead of under the tree), just like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, for really big presents who don't fit under the tree.
All the rest in that big answer I wrote, were reflections of my life.
But A WHITE PENGUIN, from the 50ies, that's "the holy graal" of the guitars. Even more than a Gibson Les Paul Standard 1958-1959-1960, but if Santa has somewhere on his attic these 3 guitars, a give some extra carrots. AND I was a good boy this year.
