Alvin has long been an inspiration to me and he will be sadly missed .I remember seeing him play a show on uk tv called night of the guitars ,clapton ,santana ,joe satriani and many others were on the bill but Alvin blew them all away that night .

They are Greek , They come as 6 or 8 string tuned in pairs ,I have an irish resonator one which is tuned like a mandolin but is a similar size to the Bouzouki .

The problems in Greece have affected the average guy in the street badly and there are now people in need of help .We the local musicians of Sitia have put together a two day event to raise some much needed funds for the local charitys.

Done with the rc2 loops station again this afternoon.Just half the band though Brian Viall on guitar me on bass ,vocal and solo Drums by Zoom. Really must get the camera working for Wednesdays rehearsal.

its a great piece of kit .I use the rc 2 an earlier version both live and for practice my mate steff has the rc 3 he also uses it live .I would recommend buying the external foot switch as well as you need to press it twice at the end of your loop to stop it .the external switch allows you to pres it once and automatically erase the loop you have just recorded there by resetting it for your next loop , I find this essential when playing live .You might also want to consider one of the modeling amps such as those from line 6 which have built in loop or backing track facility

I use a line 6 spider 75 I've gigged it for 2 years now Its very good ,however perhaps it give too much choice but its great for experimenting with sounds .For live use I choose only 4 presets and also my pedal board .The only problem Ive found is it was possible to accidently trigger the loop function ,luckily this only happened in rehearsal ,but this bug seems to have been fixed by the last software update .I have no plans to change it in the near future .

Today I received a message relating to a my sql error which stopped me accessing chordie I have had this before when using internet explorer 8 ,when I switched to google chrome it cleared except for today .The problem is clear now on chrome but is still present on ie 8 .Any one else had this?
