You have told a tragic story of a little dog who was so well loved and made him live on in peoples minds ,a fitting tribute to a lovely dog.
You have a rare gift Kev as anyone who knows you can testify to ,dont ever stop the music Kev . From one of your devoted fans

Kev who regularly joins us over here in Crete wrote this song which tells the true story about a street dog who was cruely killed by some one .The song tells of the hard life and struggles of abandoned dogs in Greece.
Kev gives much of his time to animal charity work and welfare and sings this from the heart .

Topic: KORG BACKING SYNTH (4 replies, posted in Recording)
I dont know if this is the right place to pose this question but as its a recording tool as wel as a live instrument maybe some one can help .
About 2 yrs ago a freind who played in a duo loaned me a korg keyboard to try I cant remember the model type but would like to track one down if possible .It was roughly the size of a modern lap top computor and had a small key board .which functioned like a chord organ i.e each key represented a chord E major Eminor F etc.. you were able aso to select a rythm acompniment which would follow the chord pattern played .
Ive never seen one of these since and cant trace it through korgs archive site .I think it would be a handy piece for creating backing tracks .
Unforunatly I cant locate my freind to ask him as we have long since lost touch and I now live in Greece.
My freinds name was John Woodward who lived in Blackburn England at the time .
If any one can help it would be great.

My mate Lefteris can do this its amazing to watch he just listens to a song and imediatly picks out the chords ,problem is he also picks up on all the bum notes I play .its like having your music teacher on stage with you ,last gig had a tiny stage and hes sat behind me playing bass and telling me where Ive gone wrong before Ive done it .I dont mind though my playing has improved vastly through his input .
Every band should have one .

Re: resonator guitar (17 replies, posted in Other string instruments)
I have had a Guvenor resonator for a few years now to which I added an old p90 pick up ,sounds great ,I have just added an ozark gold plated resonator and a resonator bouzouki to my collection while over in the uk this week on holiday .
All three are great ,the bouzuki being very unusual .I'll try and post some pics when I get back to crete.

I use a seymour duncan single coil woody currently . Its a bit lacking in gain but if you use a di box into the pa its fine ,It lacks a volume control but a vol pedal solves that problem.however in comparison to my ovation with its built in peizo the sound isnt true acoustic but has a slight electric feel but this is ok as some of the songs we do in our acoustic set benefit from this .My resonator has an old p90 stuck on with double sided tape and it sounds great

Re: loopers? (12 replies, posted in Guitars and accessories)
I have a boss rc 2 which I find great for solo practice but I dont use it live as I find it hard to time the stop start as it requires a double click . The only live use Ive done with it was about a year ago when I needed to make a rythm track for a solo gig ,I got round the stop problem by having the engineer fade the finish for me from the desk

I cant comment on the mexican strat but I can re the mexican tele . I have a mexican blacktop tele and my freind has an american standard tele both are great the only decernable difference I can tell was the cost . from a personal view I prefer mine as it came with humbuckers and a reversed volume pot .all I can say realy is go to the shop and try both If you feel the american one is worth the money buy it I'll stick with the cheapy

Hendrix really but probably Hank Marvin and Bert Weedon had some early input .
