Toots, you are quite the wheeler dealer.  And naolsalger, good for you for finding the good deal.  I'm glad you're happy with it.

Thanks for all the nice comments.  It does my heart good. Just using a pick, dino.  I like to randomly pick notes as I play the chords.  Gives it an extra something.  Totally random arpeggios, but I think I do get a pattern or two in there once in a awhile.  I will be doing more of course, now that it's in my blood and exciting too. I guess next I need to learn how to edit the songs.  For now I just record them the best I can, leaving in the mistakes and all.

Thanks topdown. Been wanting to do it for a long time.  Now if I can do it so can everyone else.

Thanks Jerome.  I didn't like the onboard audio for the webcam at all.  That's why I bought a cheap external mic.  A CAD U1, which made a lot of difference in sound.  I will be looking for an even better one, so thanks for the choices.  I'll look into them.

OK, the big moment has arrived.  A little explanation first.  Iwas happy with the video portion of my new webcam, but the audio sounded terrible.  As a matter of fact, I quit playing for 2-3 days after listening to myself.  My singing sounded terrible and my guitar sounded like an aluminum uke.  I thought have I been sorely better in my mind than I really was?  What a let down. So I bought an external mic and here you go.  It'll be awhile til I get good enough to go on American "Old Fart" Idol, but hey.

Crazy talk indeed, debrap.  Gonna be a pinched nerve and they're gonna fix it and you're gonna be the next SRV.  Good luck anyway.

Mike Herberts in England has an app called Slomodirector that does just that.  It is not free, but it is a great program for slowing any music down without changing the sound of the music.  I can't remember the cost, but google it and check it out.  I have been meaning to buy it for some time, but just haven't gotten around to it.
There is a demo video here.

Other the the igh prices we pay for gas, food and almost everything else we buy, I am doing pretty good thhrough it all.  My wife and I both have a governmnent retirement, so we do well.  I do owe $50,000 more on my home than it is worth, but as long as I don't sell, I am all right.  I don't need a job, so I don't have to compete in a job market that sucks at best.  I am thankful for what I have.  Keep your sights on that Martin.  They are well worth it.  You won't regret it.

Right on Russell.  And you can get by just playing the chord and forgetting about the slash chord.  Works for me.

I don't really have any advice, but to see a doctor, which you probably already have, but I really feel for you.  I hope you find a fix for this.  Good luck.

I think they are both great tablets, I am probably going to get an IPAD myself.  Lots of music apps.  It's just a little better product, in my opinion, but I don't think you can go wrong with either one.  Good luck.
