Brilliant. My dog leaves the room when I play................ Second thoughts, it's not when I start to play but when I start to sing smile.

Hi Wade and welcome to Chordie,

Left click on the chord grid and you will see all the A7 variations.

Chordpro error: The song does not contain chords. Please include at least two chords in brackets within the text, like this: [C7].

Alternatively use this site for finding and naming chords: http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/chord_name.php

Just a guitar strap for the guitar I am rebuilding but, considering my instructions were for nobody to buy me anything, I did well to get that.

Hi Sonnya and welcome to Chordie,

Perhaps if you let us know what songs and the keys that you intend to sing them in we can give some more specific help.

Merry Christmas.

What a great surprise for you, plus the research and efforts your better half went to keeping it a secret. She definitley deserves a fantastic wifey award smile.

Happy NGD and well done Mrs Butch.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Chordie has no tuner or composer and I do not know of any similarly named site that does.

A terrible tragedy at any time but particularly awful at this time of year. My thoughts and prayers to everyone involved.

I bet you never expected that Tyger. A big thanks to Jeff's charming wife for the assist.

Assuming it is the Forum page you are talking about:

Under 'Logged in as 'whoever you are' and Last visit: 'such and such a day and time' I have a full width JamPlay advert.

I'd never heard of one of those so I looked it up. Very nice! You'd have to be very good all year to get one I suspect!

My friend Richard has one and says it is the best thing since sliced bread. I have played it several times but, if I am honest, I find the neck uncomfortable. Mind you I have noticed that lately he is usually seen with his MIA Strat in his hands.

My Christmas wish would be for a 'Fat Strat'

Hello Lee and welcome to Chordie,

I can only reiterate what Phill has already said. Hilllbilly, rock, punk  or whatever, the best chords for any song are the ones that put the melody line in the vocal range of the singer.

Well Zurf I did say that we ALL wanted to hear you. So, knowing you was having problems putting up your songs and as FoC had been dormant for quite a while, I decided to do the sneaky thing and put it up without telling you. Oh yes and I did steal your photo from Facebook............ guilty as charged, your honour.

I did think that you did a great job with this cover though and thought that others would like to hear it too.

I am not letting you off that easy....... transposition or a capo will change the key to suit your voice.

We all want to hear something from you.

Congrats from me too. Great guitar although personally I would not have gone for black even though it is very popular. Black shows every slight mark to easily and I hate cleaning smile.

By all means put your guitars that are for sale in the ' Chordie Market Place', it is there for you to use to sell your guitars and stuff.

Great!! So Zurf, not only should you play it, you now have your own song to record for us all to hear.

Chordie songs are in ChoPro so that they appear like this:

Mary Had A Little LambNursery Rhyme

[G]Mary had a [C]little lamb,

She [G]also had a [D]bear,

I have [G]often seen her [C]little lamb,

But I have [G]never [D]seen her [G]bear.

If you click on the 'chopro' tag at the side of the song it will remove the formatting and can be transferred as a 'txt but it will look like this:

{t:Mary Had A Little Lamb}
{st:Nursery Rhyme}

[G]Mary had a [C]little lamb,
She [G]also had a [D]bear,
I have [G]often seen her [C]little lamb,
But I have [G]never [D]seen her [G]bear.

But they can only be done individually, I'm afraid.

However your Chordie songbook can only be sorted by song title or artist A to Z or Z to A.

I would, in fact I do, print them out and sort them, set order, in a book with clear sleeves.

It is good to ressurect these older posts sometimes as it brings valuable information to the attention of newcomers who have not seen it before, so don't berate yourself.

As far as I was concerned there was only one worthy act this time, Janet Devlin.
