Feel free to share videos or links to anything BLUES that you want to share with us.

And don`t forget to SUGGEST BLUES SONGS or write an ORIGINAL BLUES SONG for next MONTH in APRIL.

READY, SET, GO!!!

Thanks Grah1, I have re-shared for this month smile

Grah1, nice guitar work and sounds like you're really enjoying performing this one. Nice one smile    Thanks for sharing.

Grah1 suggestion for this month and performance.  No love in Oklahoma by Luke Combs this is my version https://soundcloud.com/graham-windle/no … -oaklahoma

Running a bit late getting this up this month sorry.

This month for MARCH in FSOTM we are looking for any COVER or ORIGINAL SONGS in the following genres.

COUNTRY
FOLK
ROCK

Only one suggestion was made for this month, by Grah1, No Love in Oklahoma by Luke Combs which I will post below.
Looking forward to hearing what you come up with.  Hoping for some ORIGINAL ENTRIES this month smile

READY, SET, GO!!!

easybeat, NO, don't take it down, its great you entered something this month.  As you said, "anything Random", so you entered something.  Thats great and what we want.

easybeat, nice song, bounced along well, foot tapping.  I liked the message in it.  Good to see you back performing and writing.  On a side note........I didn't hear any of the words suggested this month in the song.

neo, never heard of this song, so like TIG, I looked up the meaning of the song and yes is right with his comments on what the song is about.  Interesting little song, it punched along with the strumming as you played it.  The Reverb or echo mostly good, maybe a little over done in a few places?.   I enjoyed listening to it.

Hi ficay, welcome and hope you enjoy your time here.  AI is a very interesting area for everyone, in every area of life now it seems.  I have mixed feelings about it I must admit.  I can see the greatness of it, but I also like the originality of an artist creating from their own mind and abilities.  I am not for it or against it.  I AI is amazing what it can do and it certainly takes the hard work out of anything for people.  But, the big BUT is for me, it is taking away the originality of any artistic field.

neophytte, that was great!  Loved the piano/ piano organ for a change, it really suited this song and your voice.   I would love to see the lyrics to this song.  Some great lyrics in there, well done smile

TIGLJK, that is a great song!  So awesome you could fit so many of the words in.  I like the whole story line to this, and I could visualize it very clearly from the way you wrote it.  Love it smile

Any suggestions?

Hi beamer, so nice to see you back here and I am so happy for you and Pepper (Candice).  Sounds like life is good for you Scott and how awesome getting that house and the renovations, making it your own.  Thanks for the update and I am really happy for you.  We will look forward to hearing your music again on here smile

Looking for SUGGESTIONS for the month of MARCH for any SONGS in the following 3 Genres.

COUNTRY
FOLK
ROCK

Get SUGGESTING, as many as you like.

I know the Leo Kottke cover better (although it's not played like that). Anyway.

Enjoy!

Richard

Richard, I don't know this song, haven't heard it before.   I went and had a listen to the original and had a look at the lyrics.  Thanks for sharing, I have now learned something new (for me anyway).  You performed it well.

It's just a loop practice  to show the band. I pre recorded the loop and then played over it.If I was using it in solo performance I would let  the sound guy control the guitar and backing level. It's all going through a Roland street cube in the vid, but I agree the guitar came out too loud

Nice cover Grah1, you performed it well.  Guitar skills came through nicely on this one and it was easy to see you were really getting into it on this one.

Richard

Richard, I enjoyed that, and the visual imagery definitely added to it.  I liked the fast beat, nice for a change.  I did struggle to hear the lyrics in parts of it.

candy
children
cigarette
city

Tig, I hadn't heard or listened to that one before.   A bit of a hardcase for sure.

Richard, I like where your song is going.  I am a Country and Western fan, so that immediately makes it likeable lol.  Good question in the lyrics too, "do you still call an internet friend a friend".
