I still use the cheater B when the B7 doesn't sound right.  It works for me.  Especially when I sing along.

bobwill, you're the man. Tis a great thing you have planned.  I hope all turns out well, as I am sure it will.

I just had to satisfy my curiosity.  You made my day.
According to the 2001 UK census, Wetwang parish had a population of 672.[1] St Nicholas church, Wetwang is a church of Norman origin which was restored by both Baronets between 1845 and 1902. It is on the Sykes Churches Trail devised by the East Yorkshire Churches Group.

It is known for its Iron Age chariot burial cemetery and its black swans.[2][3]

It is recorded in the Domesday Book as Wetuuangha. There are two interpretations of this. One is that it probably comes from the Old Norse vaett-vangr, 'field for the trial of a legal action'. Another theory is that it was the "Wet Field" compared to the nearby Dry Field at Driffield.

It has been hypothesized that the unlocated Romano-British town of Delgovicia is located at Wetwang.[4]

Hurricane is the name of the town.  It is always windy here.  I guess I wouldn't really want to live in a place called Wetwang.  That is just crazy.  LOL

Welcome 3Chord.  It is almost always sunny here in southern utah.  Near Las Vegas.

Well, on the surface, only knowing what info you gave us, it appears to be obvious, but it's hard to say.  First, ask yourself what it is they don't like about you and then, as others have stated, go up to them and come right out nicely and ask them what the problem is. Tell them you are trying to straighten yourself out, but can't until they are honest with you. Sometimes honesty hurts.  Are you demanding, do you have to have things your way?  I, in no way am trying to say one way or the other what I think may be causing this conflict.  It is not my place.  I do know that something like that would bother me and I would be looking to myself first.  Just another Dr. Phil moment.  I hope things work out for you.  And I wish you the best of luck.

I have a small terrier mix.  Shes a great pet.  She sits in the room by my feet while I play.  Never sings or howls though.

I like it also.  The battle between good and evil.

I have been using Curt mangan strings.  He used to work for Ernie ball and now has his own company.  I really like them.  That is all I use now.  If you haven't tried them, give them a shot.  And they are among the cheapest priced strings out there.

They sure do look good.

When your guitar just doesn't sound quite as good as it did for some reason, it is usually the strings.  There are suttle changes in tone.  They don't sound as bright.  That is when I put new strings on.  Getting ready to change one set out any day now.  Maybe today is the day.

You've got the right attitude, toots.  I'm 60 and really enjoy playing for myself and family, but I also like to play with others at barbques.  Playing for beers is good

We all get better with time, that's if we practice a lot.  I have gotten much better since I retired and spend more time at it.

That was me and true it is.  Don't use one.  Never have, but I should.

Let me further preface my statement that I am probably more between a beginner and decent.  As far as speed goes, I consider myself to be half fast.

I consider myself decent.  I am mainly a strummer because I like to play and sing the songs.  That way I don't need others to accompany me to belt out a tune.  I am just learning how to do some of the intros to some songs, which gives the song a better flavor when played.  A couple of intros I am currently learning are Pancho and Lefty and Harvest Moon.  I love playing with others, but find it very important to be able to sing and play by myself.

Let me know when you have your next one topdown.  Wouldn't want to miss it.
We just get together and play what we know and the other person just follows along with chords, lead licks or singing.  Beer is a good idea, though.  Keeps the music flowing smoothly.

You did a good job on the Sahara Forest, Nela.  You might as well call it the Sahara Desert now.  Kind of catchy, what?

I guess the real question, Zurf, is, did you give it a proper burial.  Gonna go to the spirit in the sky.

I'll have to post some new picks, jcellini.  Thanks.  I, too am not really comfortable spending more than a thousand, but I have done it twice and have no regrets.  these guitars sound wonderful and I do believe I have gotten quite a bit better with my playing since purchasing them.  I can't wait to take them out of the case several times each day.  Just looking at them gives me pleasure.
