HI all,
just been having a play around on one of easybeats songs he wrote called Dark Days. He wrote it, performed it and had put it on his sound cloud. I liked it, so did a recording of his recording with me in the back ground (like a back up singer) just singing along. So it`s a recording of a recording as per usual on my little hand held gadget.
Have a listen to both version, I got to sing with a guitar for a change in instead of a ukulele

We may even have ago at recording it together which would be fun.
Jim, had a listen, well done again. I agree with the others and as I have said in the past , you definitely have a Dylan sound. And as said earlier in this post, great lyrics
Well written Jim, a touching song, will look forward to hearing you perform it
Awesome game! All Blacks did themselves proud!!! I am one happy Kiwi
Oh my you guys all rock!!!! I watched the videos and awesome to see you all having a blast! The beauty of music aye?! Oh how I wish me and my (dare I say little ukulele) could join you folk over there in America
So awesome, thanks for sharing........found myself singing along
Hi dino48, the final is on next Sunday at 5am New Zealand time ....... not sure in California time though.
Go the ~All Blacks~ next weekend is all I can say! Will be tough against the Aussie`s .......................... but I am backing our guys 100%

someone emailed me to put this song on soundcloud.
Can`t remember who it was, as it was ages ago.
well it`s there finally. It`s a little different to written version above
as it was recorded with the aid of a few beers.
hope you get a smile from it.
That emailer would have been me ........... lol glad you put it up
Hi Bill and Dondra, glad you liked it, loved the words, couldn't resist having a go at it ...... a big thumbs up to your writing skills there Bill
TIGLJK, thanks very much
Very good news, really pleased to hear it.
Thank you Peatle Jville, appreciate that
Keepitreal, haha funny , I can almost visualize Mrs Mop too. I think this would be great on the ukulele. I know you have done it on guitar which I am sure will be great too .... where can I listen to it?
Bill, have been reading through this whole thread today, thinking of you both and got you both in my prayers. In New Zealand there is a Maori saying "Kia Kaha" which means Stay Strong.
Bill, haha love it, very clever! I watched the John Lennon one as well
Hi Bill and Dondra, here is my attempt at Bill`s song. Love the words to your song Bill, I know the ukulele doesn't do as much justice to it as a guitar but I am not the best guitar player at the best of times. Sorry for the late attempt, have just been so busy myself lately.

Pete, like how you have performed this
Phill, a very moving song, you sing it so well (as you do with all your songs). After visiting 2 big exhibitions here in Wellington NZ this weekend about the ANZACs, a timely song with the words and meaning.
beestie, I like what you have written here, are you going to perform it? What chords are you thinking for this one.
arkady, had a listen, really good, quite haunting in a way. Like the message in it too.
Love it, really great listening and great lyrics, like how you play it and of course sing it. I`m a fan!
beestie, another good one, don't know how you keep writing so many songs, your head must be full of them, well done!
Fantastic once again Jim, look forward to hearing you perform it
Phill, Great song, I like it, well written. Have you recorded it yet?
