Hi NELA, Phill Williams, TIGLK, easybeat, Tenement Funster and keepitreal ...... thank you all so much for you feedback on my poem and mostly for your understanding and heartfelt thoughts to me  ......... brought  a tear to my eye reading them.   This is such a terrible disease that robs people of their precious memories and life.   My thoughts go out to you too TF,  your father and family.  As Phill said, as they try to find a cure for this, one day hopefully they will.

Great song ..... love the whole way you have performed, sung and written it.    I tried to have a go at it on my guitar......i didn`t do it any justice as my guitar playing lets me down big time.

Really good both of you, talent flowing from lyrics and singer..... same as Roger Guppy, i got my guitar out and had a strum along to this ... its great

Hi everyone, 
Just back from a lovely long holiday, now ready to get back into song writing (or attempted song writing) and making some music. 
Have been trying to catch up on some of the new stuff Chordians have been writing, or performing on Sound Cloud..... some great stuff out there and wow, heaps to catch up on.
Really like the look of this new setup for Chordie .... well done to those who were involved, great job, gets a big thumbs up from me

mekidsmom,  yes that photo and thanks for putting it up for me as wasn`t  sure how to do it.  All the other photos i have of ukulele are with other people and i would have to get all their permission etc and they don`t even belong to chordie anyway

mekidsmom .....    there is my sound cloud photo you are welcome to use for ukulele if that is any good to you.  I will have a hunt and see what else i have but most of my ukulele photos are large groups of people who dont even come on chordie.   I will check it out and see what i can find.  I have no idea how to post a photo on chordie either by the way.
