I agree with you on the recliner, Nela.  I only sit in mine for a couple of hours in the evening for a little TV and every time I get up (for a snack) I feel crippled for a minute or two.  Recliners are very bad.  That is why I don't sit in it during the day generally.

Hi to all you new folks.  Welcome.  Join us often.

I searched around, but couldn't find it.  Sorry.

I didn't take his answer as rude.  Perhaps you need a new computer.  I have no problem with my song books.

I always wanted to learn, also, but not bad enough to give it a try.  I work hard enough with the guitar.

That's good as far as I am concerned. Steady strum, decent voice.  I got into it.

Take two flexeril, play your guitar standing up and call me in the morning.  I feel for you.  I have had lower back pain for years, but it comes and goes.  It has never put me out of comissiom more than a day or two, but it sure can hurt.  I hope you find a way to ease the pain.  Good luck.

So I think the general thought is, if it's a cheap guitar then sharpie it right up... if not, then the person has got to be a "guitar God".  I think I may have to agree with that.

In a nutshell.

Hang around.  I am sure there will be more interest.  We already have Russell and a few others who are into this and they do a pretty good job.

Couldn't agree with you more, but you have to admit, if you had a guitar with Eric Claptons signature, you would have something to talk about.  I don't like stickers either.  My guitars will remain unadorned for my lifetime.

Also check on the right side of the song under Cool New Services.  There is an option to listen to the song, but as they said above, YouTube is the best place to go for this.  Welcome To Chordie Pete.

You are doing really well for the short time you've been at it.  You are on your way to stardom.

Make sure it's tuned right, first of all.  And that you are using the same chords as the song if you are playing along with the song.  Other than that, you can change to any chords to fit your voice.  And make sure you are strumming the song reasonably the way the song is.  And welcome to Chordie.  There will be some more help along shortly.  Good luck Chris.

I like your theory on just doodlin for a change.  Good job and I also like youyr new look.  I loved Gabby Hayes., by the way.

I always have the coin jar handy.  I don't spend change any more and it adds up pretty fast that way.  I have over $200 in it now.

It has always been a real pleasure to watch and listen to Chet play.  A true virtuoso.  I loved when he got together with other artists.

I agree, zguitar.  You should only have a guitar fund if you are planning to buy one.
