I had the phonetic spelling.  Thanks for clearing that up, Zurf.

Maresy doats and dozy doats and little lambsy divey.  Or something like that.

I don't know either, but a lot of good players come from the south.

I did not know Hoyt wrote that either.  I, also used to drive around with my buddies and the windows down, and smoked, I mean listened to that song cranked right up.  Those were the days my friend.  The long version.

Welcome Alice.

Brilliant advice Toots.  I'll give it a try.  I don't have any advice for Alice myself as I seem to have the same problems.  It's just fun to play, and so if others aren't having as good of a time as I do, I feel badly for them but it's not going to get in the way of my fun.  I guess that's not too empathetic.

Cheating is ok, if it makes it easier and sound good.

Welcome Alice.  A common problem, singing and strumming chords.  Of course, lots of practice is the key, but I always find I do better when I concentrate just on the melody and make the chords second nature.  This comes with practice, but you will get it.  Some great advice above. Good luck to you.

It has to be something in your settings because I get the artists under M.  I don't know know what that would be though.  Sorry

I looked around for you quite a bit, but couldn't find anything with easy chords.  Sorry.

Welcome TJ.  Your best bet is to check thhe song on YouTube.  There is almost always someone playing the song you want to learn.  Good luck.

I'll change that to a quoteable quote Jerome.  "Metronomes are over rated.  I never used one that could keep up with me."

Welcome James.  Glad you found Chordie.  Chordie does not change the songs it retrieves from other sites.  It is a host for the songs and all songs are actually from other sites.  And some songs do have incorrect chords.  Meanwhile enjoy the chords here.

When you have the song you want on screen, go to the far right and down and there will be an Songbook add button.

I haven't met a metronome yet that could keep up with me.
