Hi John,
I may be trying to teach my grandmother to suck eggs or have completely got the wrong end of the stick here but I have to ask.
Are you sure that it is rounded off and is not one that needs an allen key to adjust it? Usually the ones needing an allen key are round and also some types of electric guitar have two holes in the nut at 90 degrees to each other that are turned with a bar.
Roger
Hi Wickersley, welcome to Chordie.
Feel free to ask questions and add to the discussions, we are a pretty friendly bunch and do not bite, well not often
.
Roger
I have just Googled the song title and found there are several chord and tab listings for a song of this title by 'Tyrone Wells' and 'Live'. Perhaps it is the same song.
Best I can do, I'm afraid.
Roger
Hi Scimiter and welcome to Chordie.
Whilst welcoming you I must warn you that the posting of copyright lyrics is not allowed, please read the 'Sticky' at the start of this section. The Moderators of this section will remove them if you do not.
Roger
Great story Toots, I like a little drama with a happy ending.
Roger
Well done Amy, Russ and JJ. It is great what happens to music when a few Chordie friends get together in cyberspace. Congratulations to all of you.
Roger
Please do not answer these scumbag spammers. Read Amy's thread: http://www.chordie.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=15631 and just report the blighters.
We, the Moderators, need to move the offending threads, with the spam links intact, to the Moderators section for Per to see if he can prevent them from being posted in the first place but, as this one has already had the links removed, I will leave it here for a day or two before taking further action.

9:30 in the evening and I am sat just in shorts but after playing this one I got the shivers and put on a shirt
. Nice one Jeff.
Roger
Well done Jim, I too like minor chords. Now can we bully, sorry encourage
, you to record it so we know how you intend the song to be.

I was fitting some new internal doors at West Bridgeford, Nottingham for an off duty fireman when he called me to see the tragic events unfold. Both of us were shocked and horrified and could not belive what we were watching.
Roger
Hi Russ,
I have just noticed that I am still listed for the autoharp. Sadly it was stolen when I was burgled last year and I forgot to ask you to remove me from the list so will you pleased so now.
Roger
Hi Helena,
I had you as 55 in my diary but then I am renown for getting your age wrong. Still I wont have to write a song for this mistake ........................... I hope
.
Roger
Hi John,
I am pleased you have done the job and are happy with the result. I hope you can post some before and after photos.
There is a 'Sticky' at the start of 'About Chordie' from mekidsmom explaining how to post photos if you are unsure how to do so.
Roger
Happy Birthday Helena, I hope you have a great day, love and best wishes.
Roger
Hi Rachael,
Funnily enough you were one of the people that came to mind when Toney started this thread so, dental work aside, I am pleased you are OK and hope you can spend more time with us.

Glass paper and elbow grease! Chemicals could affect the timber so I would avoid them. Always sand with the grain and use ever finer paper, finishing with 800 or 1000 grit.
Roger
Sorry I misread your initial post - put that down to a 'senior moment'
I would hazard a guess that these jack sockets are manufactured for them. I work (part time) in a guitar shop and I have looked through our suppliers catalogues and I cannot find a socket like this, the others are all readily available. I can only suggest you take a picture of the socket with you if you visit stores to find one.
Good luck with your search though and please report back if you find a supplier as it may be of interest to others.
Roger
The top pictured is the OSJ jack option. So your pickup would terminate with this which you can secure to a strap button and connect an ordinary guitar lead from it to your amp or mixer.

Hi TREM,
Your message has nothing to do with why there are some songbooks with more that 100 songs and so it does not belong in this thread and you should have started a new topic for this. That being said you will have to pay for original sheet music so either look on-line for companies selling sheet music or visit the your local music store.
Getting back to the original question. I have mentioned this to Per and Topdown is correct that in the early days there was no limit so songbooks with more that 100 songs have been around for a while.
Roger
What a great story Amy and a fantastic evening for all concerned especially your dad. My brother, Colin, and I will have a session with friends or down at his local when every I go back to the UK. It is great to play with family.
Roger
Hi Banjorene,
A member for nearly three and a half years and now your first post. Welcome to the Forum and I hope we hear more from you.
Roger
Hi Ken,
I played it and I like it and then I watched you performing the song how it should be done, good stuff.
Thank you.
Roger
The phantom editor strikes again
!!
This odd chorus formatting glitch does appear occasionally. The 'getaround' is to put a 'eoc' where the chorus fomatting disappears and add a new 'soc' at the start of the next line. I have done this for you and I also broke one chorus line into two to prevent the overlapping.
Now I will get out my guitar.
Roger
That is fine Butch but I remember the chords, it is the lyrics I have problems with
.

However the internal bracing on a classical guitar is not designed to take the tension of steel strings. I have seen several classical guitars distorted and bridges ripped off through the fitting steel strings instead of the nylon ones they were designed for.
