A bad singing voice is one that can't carry a tune. For some reason they can never get the right pitch. I think it's a hearing issue. If you can carry a tune, it really doesn't matter what type of voice you have.. Do you really think Bob Dylan could make it past the first round of American Idol, yet I love his music. He can carry a tune. It's all relative I guess

I have used a Dampit in guitars for years. Here in Utah we have typically 5-10% humidity at any given time. These seem to do the trick for me. No cracks or anything. And I keep my guitars in the case

I need lyrics and chords in front of me. Do I like it? No, but I just can't remember the words and chords. I've come to live with it. It takes a little extra time if someone asks me to play a song, to get the guitar out and set upmy IPad on a stand, but people rarely comment on it.
