I have an Ibanez in the 350.00 price range and I love the way it plays. I never had a fender, but I here they have a great guitar in your price range.

Just to clear things up, I think what you'r talking about the G and the Bm are not the same form.

On my acoustics I use D'Adderrio EXP 16. I've tried a bunch of strings and I like these the best. It's all personal prefrence.

The lesson is great sounds like an easy song to start picking. Hey Guitarpix, are they pictures of all you'r guitars? I love the site I would like more people to post pics of there guitars. I have four guitars myself and I enjoy looking at all different kinds. Maybe someone can start a thread, I'm not sure how to post pics on chordie but I'll try to figure it out.

I just bought a new acoustic guitar and realy want to take care of it. I heard a lot of good and bad about humidifyers,(like mold). Can anyone tell me if they are worth it? Will my new baby die a quick death if I do not use one?

Taylors and martins are definetly the leaders of the pack. I hope to own a Taylor myself one day. Before you make your purches, I would highly recomend you try playing a breedlove, That did it for me!

I was at a guitar show this past weekend and picked up a new acoustic electric for my son. We found a guitar called "SIERRA", it plays really nice and wasn't to expensive. It also came with a very nice hard shell case. I went on there web site and was very impressed. Has anyone else ever heard of this guitar?

I picked up a 12 string acoustic over the weekend and I'm having some trouble tuning it. I use a digital tuner for my six string, but I cant figure out how to use it on the 12 string. The basic 6 strings tune fine in E,A,D,G,B,E, but I cant find the tuning for the other high six strings. Can anyone tell me what the high strings are suposed to be tuned at?

Great topic, I love playing intros. My addition to your topic would be "wanted dead or alive" by bon-jovi. or any song opening by the "Doobie brothers".

I have an Ibanez AEL20E, and a Peavy raptor electric. Hopefully in the very near future i will be adding a breedlove to my collection. You can never have to many guitars.

How do people come up with this s**t. It's awsome.

I messed around with a few riffs, but the first song I learned all the way through was "CATS AND THE CRADLE" by Harry Capin. It was so long ago I forget how I used to play it. I've sinse been on chordie and tried all there versions, but they don't sound like I remember, but then again niether do I.

I just waned to know if anyone has ever been to a guitar show. I'm going to my first one next month and don't know what to expect. I'm wondering if I can find some good deals there or should I expect to see some high prices because it's a show? If anyone can give me some feedback or let me know how there experience was, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm going to my first guitar show next month. What can I look forward to? Are there any good deals there, or is everything priced to high because its a show? Has anyone out there been to one of these?

I love to pick up the electric as often as I can, but nothing beats the sound of a nice acoustic.

I agree, both great bands. But what I realy want to know is, what songs on chordie show power chords. All the songs I've ever put in my song book all show open chords.

Good question, but it's all personal preffrence. I'v been shoping the high end guitars and between the three, my personal choice is the Tayler hands down.(not to take anything away from the other two) But like everyone on chorie will tell you, go out to the guitar store and play them all. I took that advice myself when I started shoping, and I came across a guitar brand called breedlove. Now my problem is I always wanted a Tayler, but I think I like the breedlove better.(but thats my problem). This probably didn't help you out at all. But to enyone out there getting ready to purchase your first high end guitar, Take your time and play them all.
