ive got a martin-D15, good guitar, i was looking at the same one you are and ended up with their alvarez 12 string for the same price. you cant pry that thing away from me. i dont know your type of music, but it sounds good with bluegrass and oldies. got both of them from musicans friend. your dealing with the right people, thats a for sure

ive got a 73 gibson has an odd looking electronic and cant seem to find a replacement for. it belonged to my dad and id like to have it restored, its got a few dings and the finish is colored. can this be sanded and redone?  the serial #030084.ive been told that the 84 was the year of manuf. i dont see how that could be.. thanks for your input. i dont know how to attach photos but ive got them for e-mail

george here, 62 and just started to learn  bluegrass guitar. ive played before the war and picked up banjo a couple years ago and now want to play my own backup. great site, ill be around here for awhile, you can bet. thanks in advance for all the help ill be getting from all the posts. mu guitar is the martin custom D-15. sounds real good.im in bristol, tenn.

my suggestion would be the deering goodtime. ive had mine for 4 years and id never part with it. i play it more than my goldstar or goldtone. cost around 400.00 but its the best.

ide never sale my banjos. you can go to jail for that, unless you buy another to replace it, if im not wrong. why not try the classifieds in banjo hang out? maybe you can trade it out. im new to this site,is there a section for bluegrass guitar? i just bought a martin custom D-15 and looking to back up my banjo with. any suggestions? thanks   george from bristol,tn.

hi all, new member here,a few questions, is there a section for bluegrass guitar picking? i came from banjo hangout and if this is the guitar deal then im in luck.im wanting to mix it up a bit. ive got a martin D-15 and ready to start. ive played back in the 60s G<C<D style and thats about it. thanks for the other posts ive been reading and any help youall can give me in the coming times.  george from bristol,tn.
