Topic: Quiet And Simple

Here is a song I wrote called ""Quiet And Simple" to help kick start 2024   Any comments welcome.

Soft and gentle that’s what I want
I don’t want to be in those places where people are driving me crazy in the crowd
I don’t want to be in a mental frenzy where everybody is loud

I believe that the best things that happen are in a quiet natural space
Away from the crazy human race
Its not that I don’t like people
And I sometimes find when i’m with the people below the church steeple
Its not always is the way that you think its going to be
Well we all have different versions of anchoring
We all have different beliefs
But I tell you what suits me is a place where I can find peace
I don’t need a building but it will be nice to have a bit of shade
When the sun shines out on this place
I don’t worry to much about what folks are thinking
I do my thing
But I’m peaceful and obliging as can be

Quiet and simple, think we all like times like that sometimes.  Some good lines in there Peatle, "I don’t want to be in a mental frenzy where everybody is loud" and "chewing the breeze".  Nice one.

You might have added verbal diarrhoea? Some folks you just can't shut up, present company excepted of course. I like the way you snuck Maree into your song...brownie points?
