Yep, CCR was always my favorite group.

And search google for guitar tabs or chords.  There's tons of them out there.

That's pretty amazing.  I guess you can get good at anything, with enough practice.

I hope you all enjoy the gift.  A thoughtful one at that.  Congratulations, Zurf, you're the man.

I'll also miss your statements, since I believe much the same as you.  I think you are doing the wrong thing, but hey, whatever blows your kilt up.  Good luck, whatever you decide.

It seems to me that copyright laws are in effect on myspace.  Or else we could copy everyones elses songs for free.  Am I right or am I wrong?

Speaking of drawers ! Have you ever read this article. James McCormac posted this some time ago. To this day when i hear the word "DRAWERS" i visualise  the wonderful Ida Mae Dobbs, it always makes me hoot with laughter.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate this day of overeating.  And to those of you who don't, have the nicest day possible.  You can overeat also if you wish.

I am trying to get back into using my pick lately, since I have been reading this thread.  I know, the more I use it, the more comfortable it becomes.  But I still like using my fingers.   And for $35 it should have a beer holder on it at least.

I have tried thumb and finger picks.  I don't use them enough to get used to them.  it takes a lot of use, I'm afraid, to get them right and feel comfortable.  As for  a $35 pick, that is just wrong.

Yes, $500 is a bunch, isn't it.  I have always wanted to try a Seagull, but haven't seen any to try.

I've never heard of them either.  they appear to be nice guitars.  And it sounds like everything you want in a guitar.  What's holding you up, besides the money?

I've tried the goal thing and never seem to make it.  If i really want to learn a difficult song, I just practice parts of it everytime I pick up my guitar.  When i get that part down, I go to the next, until I have the whole thang down.  Sometimes i get bored half way through and come back to it later.  Not a very good system, but......

I love Chet for that very reason.  He looks like he's having fun and he brings a smile to your face.  I have two albums by him and mark and another  with him and jerry.

Good story deadstring.  She made your day and you made hers.  We need more of that in this world.
